The First Law is for sure top of my wish list. We were supposedly getting Best Served Cold but that looks like that is in production hell and might not get made anytime soon. Would love the original trilogy to get proper Game of Thrones level treatment. It's one of the only ones I could see being Game of Thrones level phenomenon.

Mistborn would make a great movie trilogy or series. I feel like Stormlight would be too much to take on and would get ruined like Wheel of Time.

I've made my peace that I'm in the minority in not like Red Rising all that much. Or at least thinking it's overrated. But I would 100% be all over a show or movie. While reading it, numerous times I thought that I would like it better on screen.

Starting with Best Served Cold would ruin some big reveals from the first trilogy, but if you get a chance to cast Rebecca Ferguson as Murcatto you have to jump on it. Sucks that it has stalled.

We do have the recently announced James Cameron adaptation of The Devils. I’m hoping he starts production on that instead of going into Avatar 4 and 5.

I forgive you, pixie.

The consensus from internet rumors seems to be that Apple purchased it, was about to start pre-production when it was delayed by the WGA strikes, and now it’s in limbo. Apple would be my choice so hopefully it stays with them. They are all-in on sci-fi and aren’t quick to cancel a show after a rocky start. HBO would probably do it best until they make us wait 5 years between seasons and cancel it after season two.

First Law if they did it right which I have little faith in after some recent fantasy abominations.

Already Dead by Charlie Huston

The Wolf's Hour by Robert McCammon

Yea I thought it was an odd choice, but was basically ok with it because of Jessica Ferguson. I'd much rather start from the beginning though. Not sure why you'd want to start that universe and not introduce the world to Logan and Glokta first. Get them hooked right away. Would be slightly nervous it would fail starting with BSC because you're starting with a boss bitch character.

Definitely see this being the first one to get made, It seems pre packaged for the big screen. Like you wouldn't have to do too much work to write that script.

Yea if it's sci-fi, I want Apple to be on it. They do sci-fi better than anybody. Never saw they rumor that they bought it. As fans we want stuff to get made immediately but it just rarely works that way with big budget stuff. Game of Thrones took 15 years from book one to season one and that was relatively fast when you compare it to other stuff.

The Wheel Of Time, but done right.

Should be animated. Same with Mistborn and Stormlight. Just make them animated.

Joe Abercrombie’s First Law trilogy, but it would have to be a series.

- Matterhorn
- New York by Edward Rutherford (would need to be series or multifilm)
- Trinity (Leon Uris)
- Border Trilogy by Don Winslow (he sucks now but it's a great series) - FX had picked this up but looks like it may be back on the block
- I Am Pilgrim - which MGM has owned since 2014 and is still in limbo

I'd personally like to see Winds of War/War and Rememberance remade but I know that's sacrilege to some

Red Storm Rising. Probably would have to be a mini-series.

Others have said Devil in the White City, but I’d add pretty much all of Larsen’s books as well.

The Power of the Dog is an incredible book and The Cartel is great. But man that last one is a raging sky screaming turd of a book. I honestly don't know how I got through it. Trump broke that man.

Stormlight should be done as a series by Studio Fortiche that did Arcane.

That animation style is absolutely perfect for the Stormlight Archives.

Louis Lamour. Great book and it wasn't one of his westerns which is unusual

The Associate - John Grisham

I really enjoyed the book, and if done like his other book to movies, it would have been as good.

World War Z

Because that damned movie might have had the name but it sure as hell had nothing else in common with the book.
