Dark streets, rain, streetlights, what do y’all think? Looking to watch a few.

I've always liked the vibe of Elevator to the Gallows.

The Killing (1956) has some Noir vibes.

Kubrick could always light the hell out of a scene, even when he was just a kid making B movies.

If you want something a little more modern, watch Black Rain (1989) by Ridley Scott. It has comparable lighting and Noir-like set design to Blade Runner, only without some of the obscurity.

Hard to beat M by Fritz Lang. It's like the entire movie was lit by a street lamp.

Came here to post Blade Runner. Dark City also has a good film noire-ish atmosphere, as does City of Lost Children, even though neither really fit the genre.

Lots of good suggestions. I think Blade Runner and M win though. I would add A Touch Of Evil.

I'll add Brazil to your list.

LA Confidential is very good modern noire.

This and 2049 as well. Always love when the setting is a character unto itself

If I had to say the one thing the new Batman movie nailed was the atmosphere of Gotham. Not commenting on anything else about the film, but for sure think they balanced it between Nolan and Burton.

He Walked By Night

(Credited to Alfred Werker but mostly directed by Anthony Mann)

Deep focus

Yes, that's Jack Webb in a small role as a police lab man. Webb struck up a conversation on the set with the film's technical advisor and became fascinated with the details of police procedure. The experience would inspire him to create a little radio show called Dragnet.

If you haven't seen Romeo Is Bleeding I highly recommend it.

Lena Olin and Gary Oldman at their very best.
