Every time this thread pops up, the number of people that haven't watched Godfather 1 and 2 always baffles me. But I'm sure some of mine baffles others.
Any Fast and the Furious movie after the 1st. I actually saw the first one in theatres when I was 14 or 15 and when it ended everyone in the theatre stood up and clapped
Any Pirates of the Caribbean after the 2nd. Not sure how any there are.
John Wick
Mission Impossible

None of the Harry Potter movies.
Saw the first one because of the hype...then checked out.
Same with the Star Wars prequels. You HAD to...see The Phantom Menace, it was the rebirth.
Saw it and never bothered with the rest. Storytelling was abysmal and knew Lucas had lost his gord.

Footloose and Dirty Dancing.
But I did see Footloose on Broadway in 2000.

Nothing really came to mind so I went through the thread and I think the one that stuck out the most for me is the Godfather movies. Just haven’t gotten around to seeing them. I was too young when they came out and I never see them streaming.

I’ve never seen The Maltese Falcon. I started watching about 20 minutes in, and turned it off. I couldn’t immediately understand what was happening and decided I wanted to watch it from the beginning. But a I’ve never gotten back to it.
I’ve also never seen the Three Musketeers. I’d like to.
One more: I’ve never seen Hereditary. Now it’s not a classic like the others, but my daughter keeps urging me to see it. I’ve guess I’ll get around to it one day.

A Wonderful Life-watched the first 30 minutes and just couldnt get into it.
Harry Potter series - Nope not even gonna try.
Only watched the first 15 minutes of Schindlers List. Dont care to watch the rest.
For those who havent seen Gone with the Wind or Wizard of Oz -
But as to GWTW, try watching Carol Burnett's version, Went with the Wind.

To each their own, but I would recommend giving this another shot. The first half of the move is paid off in spades. It is a classic for a reason.

As a leader of the Framed thread, I really don’t have an excuse, I just haven’t ever gotten around to it.
I guessed it when it was one of the answers, but just due to knowing enough. Nothing against it but it’s never been on the radar.

I saw the first one and then Hobbes and Shaw. But that was only because there was an Alamo draft house right by my hotel. Ridiculous but I laughed.

Never seen that too. Don't know why.
Alfred Hitchcock...Psycho, Vertigo and Rear Window, of course.
But have never seen Frenzy, Marnie, The Birds, Rope, Lifeboat, Suspicion, The Man Who Knew Too Much.

Of those, I’ve only not seen Frenzy. I highly recommend the others, with the possible exception of The Man Who Knew Too Much. Doris Day and Jimmy Stewart seemed miserable together.

I know I will get killed for some of these, but I want to be honest:
Titanic
Gone with the Wind
Shawshank Redemption
Godfather II
Schindler's List
Pulp Fiction
Saving Private Ryan
Casablanca
The Shining
I'm sure there are others that would garner ridicule for having not seen, but those are the ones that pop off the top of my head right now.

I wish I could watch all those again with virgin eyes!
Well Brother, you’ve got some enjoyable work to do. It’s got to be uncomfortable to not be able to participate fully in culturally relevant conversation, since the references from those movies must come up all the time.

I get some of the references, many of them. And look, maybe I've seen a few of these along time ago and just don't remember. I doubt it, but its possible.

Let the downvotes rain down on me..
I’ve never seen:
- Back to the Future (any)
- Star Wars (any)
- Any Marvel movie (except Iron Man)
- The Godfather (any)
- Lord of the Rings (any)
- Avatar
- E.T.
A ton more I’m sure- particularly “classic” ones.

Not meaning to sound like a douche, but I am genuinely curious as to what you do watch. Those are the most culturally significant movies of the past 50 years. I could understand missing some of those, but all of those?
Anyway, if you do decide to watch them, I would say first Back to the Future, Godfather 1&2 (there is no 3rd movie), the original Star Wars movies, and Lord of the Rings. You could get away with not seeing the rest.
