I'm confused. This show currently has roughly 730 user reviews on Amazon and lots of critics reviews all over the internet.

Wouldn’t be the first time people around here emotionally latched onto some clickbait that reinforces what they want to be true before bothering to check if it’s even correct…
That said I wouldn’t blame them. User reviews become close to worthless when review bombing enters the equation.

Link/source? Amazon claimed 25 million viewers in the first 24 hours and Nielson ratings lag by 4 weeks so we won't get good 3rd party ratings for a month.

- Amazon has temporarily shut off user reviews for The Rings of Power on Prime Video, claiming to take this action so it can filter out “trolls” leaving negative comments about the new series.
The tech giant is making it clear: don’t ask questions, don’t voice complaints, just consume their content, and be excited about it.
