I don't want to see them in the real world. It then becomes every other sci-fi show with androids. The setting is what makes this unique.
ETA: if length of run time was what they were after it would have been better to follow the people in the park going through the stories.

What do you mean? they could go anywhere they want with this show. Hosts could make more hosts, they could get out into the real world etc etc.
even if hosts made more hosts, there wouldn't be an introduction of new people (like when oberyn and the martels were introduced in GOT, for example). they'd be tabula rasa and creations of whomever did it
if they get into the real world what is this? The Walking Deadworld? c'mon

At some point, the writers have to answer the question of who wins this revolt. That can be pretty drawn out.
But what's unanswered at this point? Really just what Dolores actions do and if there's an Eastworld or others. That's really it. LOST had tons of unanswered questions at the end of their first season, as did Game of Thrones.

We don't even fully understand the setting at this point anyway do we?
Where exactly is the park etc.

you could pull a lost for a season, maybe 2, where you do all the backstories of the people who happen to be in the park when the revolt begins. but even then that kind of show is very stale now (just look at TWD)

Interesting question is if Maeve is actually "awake" right now. Bernard went so far as to tell her that her current behavior was scripted. Is Dolores the only one truly there? Actually hearing her own voice? Or is she still a part of Ford's last "narrative". He did after all know exactly what she would do with the gun.

Could Ford have created a clone of himself to get executed in front of the board?
Find it hard to believe he would end himself..

I really think I've come up with a spiritual successor to LOST, but it has to do with embryonic space colonization and everyone is awoken when they're 25.

Arnold killed himself because he couldn't overcome his demons. Why did Ford do the same? Was he just ready for the end? Tough to imagine that he wouldn't want to see the true results of their creation. But if Hopkins is really done, maybe that is the end for Ford.

I guess we never got an answer on who Ford was making in his bunker?
Posted on 12/4/16 at 10:21 pm to ell_13
why does Delos security have guns that can hurt humans when they can have WW guns that only kill hosts?

Is Hopkins confirmed done?

Because humans. Real question is why they're fully automatic.

He was making himself. There's no way that he would go out like that.

One question I realized remains unanswered:
WHO WAS FORD BUILDING?
WHO WAS FORD BUILDING?

I would be ok if this was the only season of Westworld. People will always talk about the first season of Westworld and how great it is no matter what the quality of the new seasons of Westworld turn out to be.

Wasn't he trying to have the park not come online?
