The scene with PW and the clever...
Made everything worth it right there. I'll put aside any complaints I might've had with that one redeeming scene.
I've enjoyed the season. A few misses here and there, but when it hits, it hits it out of the park.

That scene was so badass I rewatched it after the episode.
Crazy broad: what’d you do with papa??!
IT: oh, uh….I ate him! (Hits the deadlights)

I stopped watching after the scene with the girl and the elongated eyeballs. Is it worth picking it back up?

The last episode was really good. Loved the old Pennywise at the carnival stuff and the fire scene was amazing. I felt dizzy watching that.
And poor Halloran, he was in absolute hell.

This show is addictive. I keep going back to watch another episode even though this is usually the time of the year I watch feel good christmas movies. Wish I would have started this show before Halloween.

Loved the episode, feel like this is my favorite show since severance. Anytime PW is around the scene is going to be unreal. Can’t wait for the finale.

Some episodes are kinda meh except for a moment or two but when it’s good, it’s great
Overall I’m enjoying it as a solid 7/10

Thought it was a good season finale. Loved the tie ins to the newer movies to bridge that gap. And the obvious nods to connections in the book.
Pennywise is just so unhinged and love it.

Agree, good ending, enjoyed the tie-in’s. The last ep was by far the best. Overall I really enjoyed this season. Task and Derry made for quality fall TV.

Finale was decent enough, didn't get everything I was hoping for. Overall, solid first season, will definitely tune in for the rest if this is the quality we're going to get.
Stronger kid actors next season hopefully.

My favorite part was Rich giving PW the bird.

So did they just confirm that they really didn’t kill him in the movies? i always got the impression they didn’t. His whole death/birth speech is why i feel like they confirmed my suspicions he can’t really die

I thought they were ok. I really liked Matilda Lawler, the young lady who played Marge. Was nice to see young actors who actually looked like real High School underclassmen.
Also, I think Bill Skarsgard really came into his own as Pennywise. I will always love Tim Curry, but man, Skarsgard has really gotten to the evil depths of Pennywise.
Really good finale.

Not reading the last few posts about the finale, just want to sum up my feels.
THAT WAS AWEMSOME!! So many good moments, and Pennywise was pretty epic.

MAJOR SPOILERS:
I was actually very impressed that they were able to reveal this whole show is a sequal to the movies and not a prequal. Him explaining that he is omnipresent and time is not the same for him was actually well done IMO. He is just going back in the past to try to kill the lineage of the loser club. Of all the "time travel" shite hollywood has put out, this was the best IMO. IT being an outer world entity obviously helps making the logic more digestable.
