How incredible was the 2000s for comedy? This movie is still amazing today. The opening scene is gold and there isn’t much dead weight all the way through. Decided to watch this tonight and it still makes me laugh just as hard as when I was a teenager.

I'll put Jane Seymour's performance up there as one of the more out of left field/random roles.

Jane Seymour is painfully sexy in that flick.

Easily the worst episode they've ever done of that podcast.

2000-2010 really was an insane era for comedy.

Agreed. Sadly, this past decade has probably been as bad as the 2000s were good.

If I were making a top 10 comedy list for the 21st century, almost every one would be from the 2000s.

There were some good comedies in the early part of the decade but almost none after 2013/2014

Hot Tub Time Machine
Get Him to the Greek
Horrible Bosses
We're The Millers
Ted
21/22 Jump Street
This Is the End
Scott Pilgrim vs. the World

They pretty much just stopped making big comedies around 2015. The early 2010’s still had some great ones, but then as the #MeToo, SJW, and Cancel Culture movements went into overdrive at the end of the Obama presidency, studios pretty much gave up on comedy and sunk all their talent into comic book movies and low budget horror flicks.

When Todd says “let’s play tummy sticks” I die.

Also, in my Head canon Wedding Crashers and Step Brothers are in the same world and the rich family from WC is at the fricking Catalina Wine Mixer.

After rewatching it I never noticed how Vince Vaughn is basically throwing 100 MPH the whole movie. Almost every scene he just kills it. Most everyone is funny but I think VV clearly wins the movie.
