Saw a commercial for yet another Goldberg spinoff Schooled
Looks awful and ill-conceived. Should go over as well as the previous spin-off..
I assume the last spinoff was a lead-in to this?

So then I guess they have changed its focus. Cause at first it was going to focus on tim meadows and the gym teacher. This one looks like it will focus on lainey

They trotted out one test episode of a spinoff that focused on Tim Meadows/principal and the coach. It sucked (though they claim it tested well and was popular).
Looks like they retooled and now will focus on Lainey, who is somehow a teacher even though she dropped out of college on the original series.

We liked the The Goldbergs, but it has grown stale. We deleted it from our "Record Series" list after last night's episode.

4-5 seasons would have been the sweet spot for this show. They're recycling story lines at this point.

For a great show set in the 70's check out The Kids Are Alright. I think it's ABC. Its really good about a huge Catholic family in the 70's.
