I saw this movie for the first time with my then 80's something year old great-grandfather when I was like seven or eight. It was his favorite movie because of the camp fire fart scene. He couldn't believe that was in a movie. He had it on Betamax and would have it on all the time.

Mel Brooks has said, several times, that he could not make this movie in today's PC world. What a loss that would be. Every questionably PC joke or comment is a riot & everyone found it hilarious.
