I'm pretty sure Cruise is an avid rock climber. He did all the climbing stunts for the other MI movies.

Ropes or not ... still impressive for a major action star to take on that stunt. He is one of the few that actually does his own (out of fairness, bonding companies are fans of actors doing stunts but he calls the shots)
I wonder if he will repeat his performance off of the chase building when he gets to BR in January.

He's freaking crazy, that made me nauseated watching it. My bet is he has a hard time getting insured since he does stunts like this himself instead of leaving it up to the stunt guys. Cool movie thought can't wait for it to come out.

But it's the OPPOSITE of all big and bad. I'm an incredible pussy. I would NEVER do something that was actually scary. The people that are badass are the ones who do shite where there actually is danger...I would NEVER do that. For instance, I would NEVER go swimming out in the open ocean where there are sharks and shite, but people do that all the time. On the other hand, I would happily go down in one of those steel cages to look at sharks...again, BECAUSE it's not scary BECAUSE I have steel cage protection.
