I've obviously never been to that building, but I have done plenty of skydiving/rappelling/etc. The whole point to me is it is NOT scary BECAUSE there's safety equipment.
Jumping out of a plane = scary
Jumping out of a plane with a parachute = not scary

Oh yes, because nobody has ever died jumping from a plane, sky diving, rappelling/etc.
Oh and nobody famous has ever died or been injured on a movie set....says Vic Morrow's severed head.

Tons of people have died doing anything and everything. Take driving, for instance.
The failure rate on skydiving is exceedingly low. You are almost certainly in greater danger on your drive to the jump zone.
The point is being high up is not scary if you are attached. (The same way having your body move 80MPH isn't particularly scary if you are strapped into a quality car by a seat belt and driving on a road).
