I was 13 and saw at least a dozen of those—some of the rated R selections by sneaking into the theater. Good times, mostly good movies!

Seeing Porkies at 21 was an event, I'd imagine that seeing it at 13 would've scarred me for life (in a good way).

I was 21 and a newlywed. My hubby and I saw at least half of these in the theater. We went to at least one movie every weekend, quite often 2 and maybe one on Tuesdays when it was cheaper back then.

Some all time greats on that list, for sure.

1995 was also a strong year.

Heat, 12 Monkeys, Rob Roy, Se7en, Usual Suspects, Toy Story, Apollo 13, Braveheart, Casino, Get Shorty, Crimson Tide, Desperado...

1994 also was a big year.

Grease 2 is incredible. If you don't get down to "Who's that Guy," I can't help you.

Damn son.

I Was 8 and remember going to see 6 pack.

Side note - as with all gen x'ers, late night HBO was kind of a birds and bees educational channel...quest for fire was "formative"

Add Beverly Hills Cop which came out in December, and '84 was just stacked.
