Noticed my favorite Portuguese actress’s new series is out. Will start watching this weekend.

Watched all of season two. Not bad but didn't care for the ending. Lillith emerges as a vengeful badass.

Liked Season One… Surprisingly little fanfare for this one. Just sort of showed up with no promos.

My sister co-wrote an episode this season and got to be on set for a bit in Madrid. Alba Baptista is apparently a doll in person.

Yeah that’s pretty much how I feel as well.

Really enjoyed season 1. I binged season 2 and didn’t enjoy it nearly as much, though I can’t exactly say why. I guess it just seemed.. less compelling?

Alba Baptista is still a smoke show, so there’s that.

Season one is watchable, but I can’t shake the feeling that I have seen this before. How many dozens of TV shows are basically the same plot. Young girl naïve to the world gets superpowers and has to cope with being a teenager/indestructible force? Picking up Buffy the Vampire vibes - Bigley.

Would wife.

She actually resembles the college version of my wife.

Finished S1. Mixed. Feels like they switched writers in the middle somewhere because the story just seemed to fall apart. Nothing against the actors, but the characters just aren't doing it for me. Ava's arc isn't compelling at all. She goes from bedridden orphan who got done wrong, to superpowered being but without any real purpose.

There's some low-key humor there, which I liked. If this is the 'best' of the 2 seasons so far, might have to dip out.
