Does this episode correspond with a certain part in the comics or has the show veered away from the comics? Thanks

The rumored death does not happen in the comics

Well then you are in the minority.
Nearly everyone loves season 3 of Fear and agrees it is better than regular walking dead last year or 2

I think it’s ridiculous that they feel the need to say
“This Episode has a shocking moment that everyone will be talking about”
They should keep things a surprise. I miss the days when surprise deaths happened on random episodes. Now they only do things like hat in a premiere, mid season finale or season finale and they have to make sure to keep overhyping that there’s a major shocking moment coming. It’s fricking stupid

Well there's no garbage community in the comics and Eugene doesn't flip to the Saviors. Most is still similar.

How do you think negan escaped?
The same way Rick has escaped every scene since Season 1

How did rick escaped being trapped in by a mega herd on every scene since season 1?
I remember them getting out of megaherd situation in Alexandria with Daryl lighting the lake on fire?

I'm saying Rick has escaped some ridiculous situations before. Negan will probably do the same in his escape from the Sanctuary

I’m curious if Eugene told them about the bon fire trick

There was a helicopter this season in FTWD that Travis was in. Could this possibly be the connection to TWD?
Seems unlikely given how distant they are from each other.
TWD folks are in the SE/Atlanta area, and FTWD folks are in southern California and Mexico area.

Everyone takes part in a mass suicide.
The rest of the season will be from zombie POVs

If Negan gets the upper hand at all this episode he has to kill Carl and try and possibly cut off Rick's hand just to save face and keep his word.

If Negan kills Carl it will lose any shock factor
Because AMC felt the need to play commercials over and over for a week saying “tune in next week for a super shocking moment that everyone will be talking about”
So dumb that they did that

I'm going in with no expectations, that way I can't be let down for investing time.

Please let it take place on grounds of a run down sonic.

quote:No they shouldn't. They want viewers, and a lot of their viewers watch football.
They should keep things a surprise.
I haven't read any rumors, and I hardly read this thread anymore, but their announcement seems to at least indicate that the death won't be something underwhelming like Gabriel, who still might die.
Unless the way he dies is really memorable, but I doubt it. shite, in the comics, Andrea is still alive and is Rick's gf, right? They could go anywhere with it. It won't be Rick, Daryl or Carol, though. The fans wouldn't stand for any of those.

I can see it being Daryl or Carol. The fans can deal with it as they are supposed to.
