TWD is my least favorite, favorite show. Its the worst, best show on TV. Its really good, trash tv.

I don't agree with that at all, and I love both shows.
I would argue The Walking Dead is as much a pop culture phenomenon as GOT, if not more.

Walking Dead is one of the, if not the most overrated shows ever done. The writing is monumentally bad, the story goes in circles from one villain to the next every time the group gets to a new area, a main character is killed off, rinse and repeat. What's sad is I felt the first season was very promising but it went to absolute shite not long after.

Walking dead and it's not even close. Read each book of GoT 5 times a piece. That's how much I loved the books. TV show is just ok and now HBO is skewering it and diverting from the books.

I'm not a GoT fan, and I can't comment on the show now, but the first 3 seasons are pretty good too. Nothing earth shattering, just extremely predictable characters constantly playing political games, rather than extremely predictable characters playing post-apocalyptic cat and mouse games.
GoT was extremely boring, with nothing redeeming in the show beyond production values and only a couple of truly interesting characters. Everyone else was just seeing who could be the biggest a-hole from week to week, both literally and figuratively. My opinion could change when I finish it, but I'm going to let it end first, then I'll watch it all in one go, it might get more interesting that way
In the end, to each his own, I wouldn't NOT watch either one. Give them both a shot and see what engages you more. Don't blindly listen to either the GoT love or the TWD love, especially when someone slams a show unfairly then says that the other show is SO MUCH BETTER!
