I haven't seen a bad Ryan Coogler movie yet. With this being a chadwick tribute of sorts i really doubt this is the one he drops the ball on.

I feel like this is either a case of the director not knowing much about the strength of Hulk/Thor, or he is flat out lying in order to drum up interest for his movie.

Even if Namor is Thor's power level from the first Thor movie, that still easily overpowers Black Panther, who is Cap level.

Everytime Hulk and Namor have fought, Namor has won. He has knocked Hulk out, repeatedly.

Dunno why anyone's panties would bunch over this.

I believe it was Emergency Awesome on YouTube that said Namor’s “origin” story is similar to that of Moon Knight, getting his powers from a god.

Apparently failed to include language obligating the actor to do the right program.

The Rock looks like Namor. This guy looks like a barista who takes his Planet Fitness membership seriously.

Truth.

The only thing that annoys me is the Aztec look for him. They could have had the actor shave and leave that ridiculous garb off of him and it would have been acceptable. The widow's peak and the haughty expression/attitude would have been great, but I can forgive those if the actor can pull off the role well.

Everyone going forward will be the next strongest ever

if they aren't, they aren't relevant.

Comics struggled with this for a long time.

This is what happens when non comic book fans start inserting themselves into projects simply to promote The Message.

The explanation given in the comics is that living underwater surrounded by tons of pressure gives him and his people superhuman strength when on land.

While I don't disagree in the look for Namor, I think (in my opinion) the Aztec look kicks arse. This guy didn't have to be Namor to look like this.

That said, Namor being in this is the only reason I will see it.

I can't wait to see how a 85lb woman beats him.
