We're not Cuttlefish.
And it's psychology, not anthropology.

Did you mean to post this on the outdoor board instead of movie/tv?

Just do it on the poli board where it belongs
Posted on 4/27/25 at 1:19 pm to SonicAndBareKnuckles
Agreed. this thread should be on the poli board

We have a political board if you wanna discuss political/philosophical movements but some people feel their need to try to force us into choosing a side in their dumb movements by posting it here.
Hes a weird homosexual groomer weirdo that knows hed get roasted on PT board. Him and several others appear to subtly use these boards as their "political" boards then are quick to hide behind the rules when they get called out

that's some mental gymnastics. the only political threads that are started on this board are from one side of the aisle

a perfect example of the shite i'm talking about. This guy made 10 posts today. 8 of them on the poli board. comes to the movie/tv board, makes 1 post, and calls me a homosexual groomer
clearly he's here to discuss movies though, not push political/culture war bs

quote:bullshite. Have all the social justice arguments that you want, but don’t think for a second that the early Sue Storm wasn’t a badly written damsel in distress.
The idea that Sue Storm was a doormat in the early Fantastic Four comics is ridiculous.

Attention Disney, Hollywood actors and actresses:
Shut the hell up. Every instinct you have about what to say and how to market a movie is wrong. Just shut up and and let the film speak for itself. Damn I’m sick of this bs.
This is what I don't get. If they're so hellbent on pushing an agenda or message, wouldn't they want as many people as possible to see their work?
Instead, these actors yap like their mission is to turn away audiences. I figured Disney would at least try to put a shorter leash on them after the Zegler debacle, but apparently not.

Yeah, no grandmother in the south was ever a doormat in the 60s. They'd whip this count's arse without compunction

Corinth420 is the biggest hypocrite this board has ever seen. Everything he alleges he’s actually doing and he lies incessantly.

Uhh that was one storyline, where Namor was infatuated with Sue. Who was he gonna grab, Thing?

Shakman elaborated, “If [Reed] is the most scientifically intelligent person, then she is the most emotionally intelligent person on the planet. Between the two of them, they're building an idealistic society."
women seem to think that being emotional = being emotionally intelligent. it's basically the female version of "mansplaining", where oftentimes dudes think that just because they speak direct and are confident, that means they know what they are talking about. having huge emotional responses to everything doesnt make you emotionally intelligent.
anyways, that's neither here nor there as it pertains to the thread really. i just hate the overuse of that term.
