E.G Daily just had a birthday. Hot little thing in that movie.

yep. She was cute. I was always amazed that Tommy caught shite for sleeping with her once they broke up but nobody said a word to her for fricking him.

Man there were a ton of good 80's movies.

Yep. I was a senior in high school when it came out. Chris Penn (RIP) was a good replacement for his brother.

I have not seen that movie in 40 years. I wonder if you can stream it anywhere.

Unfortunately this is one of those movies that you cannot find anywhere. I actually bought a Blu Ray copy last year for pretty cheap. I had the opportunity to buy the soundtrack on vinyl a few weeks ago but then saw that it doesn't contain Born To Be Wild by Steppenwolf, which happens to play as the introduction of the movie with the opening credits.

I saw it back then too. About the time i saw Repo Man, which is also great 80s nostalgia.

Tons more authentic than Fast Times Ridgemont

Filmed in 1981. How much 80s did you expect to get ?

Love that movie. Some will argue but it really is one of the quintessential 80s movies.

I've been saying since always. There are some close 1 B choices, but none better.

One of my favorite movies. Retelling of Romeo (Randy) and Juliet (Julie). There's even a moment of them walking below a theater marquis showing the Zeferreli version. Showing it to our kids it was hard to explain that if guys like Randy and Fred showed up at a valley party, of course a fight would break out. The "differences" were deep and real.

I saw it for $1 at Joy’s Cinema Six in Shreveport as a freshman in high school. Sometime around 83 or 84. First movie that I ever saw Nicholas Cage in. His character was quirky as hell.

The soundtracks to Valley Girl, Fast Times, and Last American Virgin are the 80’s.
The soundtrack to Valley Girl was one of the most sought-after, nonexistent records of the 80's and early 90's. Someone finally put out a compilation album with the songs in the mid-90's. I think that every download that I've had of the album was a knock-off.

Sparks had been around since the start of the 70's, but their style was seen as "New Wave" in the 80's, hence the inclusion of "Angst in My Pants" in the soundtrack.
