Ladybugs is awesome. She's the Man, basically the female version of Ladybugs, is good too.

If The Last Boy Scout counts as a sports movie, then that should be mentioned as well.

Don't know if skateboarding is a sport, but I like Lords of Dogtown a lot.

North Dallas Forty is a great football movie.

One of my favorites from the old days.

Diggstown is one I actually have on DVR and watch more than I should.

What about The Endless Summer movies? I like 1 and 2 but I feel like 1 goes without saying.

Another surf movie is North Shore. I almost failed a couple classes when it was on HBO my freshman year of college.

Cameos in that movie were on point
Loved it when he threw Kareem out of the game.

Mickey: You're out of here, Jabbar!
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar: Are you nuts? It's my farewell game.
Mickey: Well then, let me be the first to say, "FAREWELL!"

I've always thought that Everybody's All American was not high enough on everyone's list. It is a cathartic experience watching the journey of an ordinary man go to hero all the way to has been. I love all the characters, Dennis Quaid's pain is real when he is literally wishing he had died while he was still on top.

Prefontaine for me. Really good movie IMO.

It was better than Without Limits...but for some reason, I liked the story-arc of Without Limits a little more.

Question: where's Southpaw viewed as a boxing movie and would Talladega Nights be under consideration as well?

How is no one else mentioning the movie that has Michael Caine, Sylvester Stallone, and Pele playing soccer against Max von Sydow and the Nazis?

Airborne is forever a guilty pleasure along with Rad.

Nothing like bicycle dancing.
