Man in the High Castle (completed first season just haven’t been motivated to watch and would need to recap season 1).

Westworld - just didn’t get into it after a few episodes, Just not for me.

Seasons 2 and 3 of True Detective - not fair to compare anything to season 1 but I did not get past the first couple of episodes of the second and third seasons.

Wait, some of these are out? Or are you pre-emptively quitting them?

You gave up on The Shield?!

Seasons 5 and 7 are two of the best you’ll ever see on a TV show

westworld got thru season 1 and bailed enthusiastically.
a wise person may not Westworld gave up on itself after season 1. However season 1 was very special.

Game of Thrones for me. Not sure how anybody with more than forrest gump brains can watch that crap. dialogue is atrocious. plot is atrocious. acting is horrible.

The Blacklist

House M.D.

To me these shows were just kinda the same thing each season with no real resolutions. Really good shows that I just got tired of because it felt repetitious and became stale for me.

Should I have stuck with either one? Both?

There's been a bunch of them for me. The latest one is that White Lotus show on HBO. Gave up after episode two. Some shows I manage to come back around on. Took me a couple of tries to get into Mad Men which is a fantastic show.

Lost
The Walking Dead
The Americans

I liked these shows, but at some point it was just going on too long, it was enough already. Feel like these shows could have been condensed into way less seasons and had better episodes.

stranger things, weeds

These 2 don't deserve to be mentioned in this thread. Stranger Things is just really good TV, and Weeds was hilarious. But that's just my opinion; as you're entitled to yours. Your opinion is just wrong though.

Game Of Thrones
Succession
Better Call Saul
Westworld
Bloodline(not sure we bailed, but only watched 1st season)
West Wing
Lost

Haven't seen the most recent season of The Blacklist yet, but James Spader in this show is almost reason enough to keep watching. On the flip side, Elizabeth Keen's character is almost reason enough to not watch it at all. Ugh, I really hate her character.

Only reason I finished House was because my wife was still really into it. It got stale for me towards the end.

The Walking Dead - one of the last things I remember is the tiger dying, but I had started to lose interest sooner than that.
This is US - jesus, how much drama can 1 family possibly have. No thanks.
Westworld - I made it through season 2 and told myself I'd try season 3, but that hasn't happened.
Gotham - I don't have a good excuse for this one. I caught up to either season 2 or 3 and just never kept watching it. Shame on me.
