Yet.
Or they would have us to at least consider it. Plenty of season left to hash it all out.

I mean literal gifs were made of me making this point, along with the meta acceptance of it, after Season 1

Again, that's on you if you really thought it was going to be supernatural. That was something that was of interest, but even in the in season thread back then barely anybody was actually thinking that was supernatural. They were playing into New Orleans vodoo which made for an interesting story but it wasn't even remotely a rug pull.

They directly put it on screen

They now have ghosts leading people to the middle of nowhere to find dead bodies

Revisionist history

Also, in addition to the supernatural pretty much everyone thought a huge conspiracy was going on, which was also discarded and the viewers then claimed they never were interested in either. It was a character study

How much of S1 was anywhere near Nola?

I just saw it more as mysticism and not supernatural stuff.

This season way more so. They are legitimately trying to fool you. Or make you believe that seeing dead people is a real thing and not supernatural, I don't know.

I'm not a fan of the supernatural at all, I'd be disappointed if they actually went that angle.

It's really not. I'm not saying it wasn't talked about or that people didn't actually believe that's what they were going for, just not that many.

I agree.

Whatever, South Louisiana, you know what I'm talking about and it doesn't change the point.

Why can't you people just roll with it? So there is some supernatural shite (maybe), so what?

I can't believe there has been no discussion of Jodie Foster's sex scene. Pretty tight bod for 64.

I mean read the thread. I've been defending the show the whole time, I am rolling with it. Doesn't mean I have to like supernatural stuff. It's a personal preference.

Let’s clear some things up:
- nobody in season 1 was likable, either. Marty was a serial woman abuser, Rust was a suicidal pessimist who couldn’t bring himself to commit suicide. But characters don’t have to be likable to make a show compelling, they just have to be interesting. Haven’t decided if the S4 characters are interesting yet but I haven’t ruled it out, either.
- S1 wasn’t devoid of a supernatural element. The visions Rust saw were explained away as hallucinations from drug use but there was always the implication that he could see something more. Too, the whole premise of Carcossa and the Yellow King is cribbed directly from the pages of cosmic horror. The Tuttle cult was, for all intents and purposes, a Cthulhu cult just dressed up in Mardi Gras garb.

ETA: My theory - the cleaning ladies are a coven of witches running around doing heinous shite

What's her body count so far in this show?

Her ex that died
The Geology professor
The police captain
The mine lady's husband

Were her and Navarro a thing? It's been hinted at but not overtly answered.

When did they hint at that?
