Looks to me like Hoyt Foods head of security walking up on Tom at end of episode. I’m thinking it’s pictures of her on the wall or by bedside. Hoyt’s are part of the cult and it’s definitely connected to Season 1 somehow.

I always thought season 1,2,3 would be connected. Seems like in season 2 I saw a few things (symbols, references) that connected to Season 1. The season was so bad I quickly forgot about it but I bet if I went look back there’s all kind of clues.

Also, the Hoyt family has been paying Lucy for years and I’m thinking she threatened them and that’s why she was killed in Vegas (OD).

Was just going over the episode again in my head and I guess cause of the crazy ending I had forgotten about the scene with the black man with glass eye at Amelia’s book signing or whatever. Interested to see that tie in (does she tell Hays about him?)

I wondered the same thing. They had chosen the girl. It was always about Julie. On the phone call Julie doesn’t know Wills dead either. The Hoyt’s have brainwashed her into believing that wasn’t her real dad and it may not be. Julie may in fact been living with her real dad “Hoyt” all these years since she went missing. Need to remember that Lucy worked at Hoyt Foods so an affair could of happened then. Also, we know Tom was gay and more than likely Julie was never his child.
Lucy was in on the kidnapping or at least knew where Julie was going all alone. The Hoyt’s has been paying her all these years. I wonder who went to who first Lucy or Hoyt in kidnapping Julie. The question most bothering me is did Lucy know they would kill Will?

I don't think so. I think Harris James has a history with Tom being they are both gay. Harris told Hayes that he had a good body. Maybe that is how he was able to get the boy's backpack to plant at Woodard's.

People are going to be REALLY disappointed when it isn’t done huge pedophile ring connected to season 1.
The Hoyt family paid Julie’s mom to give her to them to replace the dead granddaughter, and then killed her in 1988 fir wanting more to stay quiet. The one eyed black guy in this episode was the one seen driving around in the sedan in 1980 with a white woman, presumably the Hoyt daughter who lost her kid. The cop who is now head of Hoyt security helped cover it up by planting evidence in 1980 and was killed in 1990 by Wayne and Roland, presumably after they find out about his involvement and that he killed Tom. We can assume that Hoyt has the cousin killed in 1990 for talking.
That’s gonna be how it goes. The only real question are what happened to Julie from 1980 to 1990 and then after all the events of 1990, and who actually killed her brother. My best guess is the one eyed black guy.

It was mentioned on reddit... it sounds like Harris tasers Tom about 5 seconds after the credits start rolling. I went back and listened and it does.
