in all honesty, it's due to your point in the last major thread. as i said earlier, this ep showed that the show is NOT as deep and necessary of such intricate theorizing as people are doing
No more or less true for this show than any other show discussed on a message board. People to overboard with analysis, but that's okay.
Except for that GoT nonsense.

Just watched the E7 preview; fell asleep last night before it was on YouTube.

Awesome episode IMO, but I assume lots of people possibly hated it..?
A lot of it was expected, but still done well. The only thing that bugged me was that I knew Maggie would make a paly at Rust at some point, but I didn't think he would do it. So that kinda threw me a bit...especially when she was talking in the interview about how he was a moral man. I love how she tells him she couldnt do it with a random dude because not only was it weird for her, but Marty wouldn't have really given a frick either. So she does it with Rust because she knows that's what will get him pissed off and get her out of the relationship. Oh well...women be shoppin', as always.
The only thing I didn't really get was why she's lying in the current (2012) timeline..? What would she have to gain at that point to be dishonest about shite, given that 10-17 years had passed?
So we wrapped up '95 last week, and now it seems as though '02 is pretty much wrapped up as well (maybe one or two things to touch on, but not much time will be on it)...so I assume the last two episodes will mainly be focused on 2012 and that body and how Rust/Marty tie into that one. So they have two hours to tie things up in a nice, neat, little bow.
Rust talking to ole girl in the confession was awesome. He's a straight up cold-blooded machine. Same with him setting off the little girl and then walking out. The dude with the scars that she was talking about...was that the second dude they killed at LeDoux's place, or is that still someone out there (like maybe the dude in prison)..?

Only a few malcontents and trollers.

Does Hugo really hate the show? Or is he just trolling in order to be different?

Negative. I love the series and think this episode really brought it down.

Rust was hanging on to "this world" by a thread. Then he gets taken advantage of at his weakest and most vulnerable moment by a women he thought was good which severed his ties to "this world" and sent him underground. Can't wait to find out what this dude has been up to for 12 years.
This show is phenomenally well done. I can't remember the last time I saw a show driven entirely by character development and interaction rather than plot development that the characters respond too

It seems like a good bit of people hated it because it showed us how things happened instead of what happened.
Looks like most of the complaints were well we already knew Marty and Rust split, or Marty and his wife split. We already knew Rust suspected Tuttle. We already knew Rust wasn't police anymore. There was no big reveal that people crave after many of their theories got destroyed last night.
I enjoyed it though. Seems like a pretty standard set up episode.

Eh, I didn't mind it. I didn't love it, nor hated it.
I thought Episode 4 was worse than this one. It was just too drawn out. But I'm not letting it hinder me. Still love the show (But it still isn't as good as BoB.)

no idea how or why TD is being compared to BoB now...
