Sucks that after 8 episodes we have see another group of true detectives...the opening season is killing it and is offering big shoes to fill
Do we know if future seasons will be set in Louisiana? And are they going to be written by Nic Pizzolatto?
Nvm, it's pretty much up in the air.

Anyone else think that the plot to rob a ghetto with 3 dudes with biker beards dressed as cops and 1 dude with a leather jackets driving up in a Tahoe is just about the dumbest fricking idea ever?
Who actually thought that would work?
They are in a drug dealing biker gang for a reason...they aint too smart

You asking about the cartel story?
Posted on 2/10/14 at 12:43 am to NIH
Hmmm even Marty was using the eye mirror in this episode.
Posted on 2/10/14 at 12:44 am to JBeam

As far as the case goes, I'm still waiting on more information about Tuttle to come out soon. Charlie Lange said this in the beginning
I'm still waiting for Rust & Marty to head back to that school at some point.

Also, my favorite line in the bar: "The big swingin dick you are, and you can't spot crazy pussy?"

Ah. Don't know what was going on there.

Didn't Rust tell Marty in a prior episode why he looked in the one-eyed mirror...something about looking at yourself truly or like that?

The filming of the final scenes from the bar to the end was amazing. The camera and pacing was perfect. I felt drugged watching it.

for some reason i thought the industrial plants...i think before the rave scene, were CGI
The last part of Woody tailing the stripper definitely looked off. Her car stood out as being CGI to me. The scale of everything seemed off.

I have to assume that they CGI'd it together like Children of Men, but I'm going to irrationally hope that it was one shot.

Definitely made me think of Children of Men. I don't think there was CGI involved here. Great episode and great acting as usual. I do think the escape was a bit of a stretch of believability, but the camera work and action made you suspend the disbelief.
