I watched a few episodes of this on Netflix the other day, and it's absolutely hysterical. Idk what took me this long to watch it, but glad I did. Was going to start watching it from start to finish to see if the rest are this good.

Question. Outside of the show, do they have other movies/specials that they have made as well? Just curious cuz I plan on watching all they have.

What's yalls favorite episodes/scenes/quotes in the show?

I can't remember if all of the original seasons are on Netflix or not. But if they are, watch them all from the beginning and just enjoy it. Seasons 1-7 are the original Showcase episodes that came on Canadian cable.

Seasons 3-6 are probably the peak of the show for me. The Netflix episodes just aren't the same. Anything without Jim Leahy is just not right.

They made a couple TPB movies, too. They're decent, but the original show is the best.

John Dunsworth as Jim Leahy is up there with best comedic acting you'll ever see

We just watched it for the first time over the quarantine, and I had the same feeling, although it definitely loses steam after the first 5 seasons.

My favorite scene is probably when Ricky shows a rare moment of brilliance and saves his daughters science fair project by explaining to the teacher how dumb and worthless he really is

There are a bunch of movies. Most of them are terrible. The netflix produced seasons are not good either. Seasons 3-7 are the best, first two aren't terrible though. I can't pronounce jalapeno correctly now thanks to Ricky.

The show kind of loses its way around season 7. Leahy makes the show. That guy was an exceptional actor and for him only to have been known for this show was a tragedy.

Some of the stuff kind of wears on you though. The worst character on the show...and it may not be popular...is Julien. He is supposed to be their version of the straight man but I find his character uneven. Bubbles character you kind of have to suspend reality for.

Dude, if you didnt like “Don’t Legalize It”, I dont know what to tell you. A major plot point revolves around Lahey trying to plant cocaine on the guys and being unable to stay out of it. Thats all you need to know. Give it a chance.

Last episode season 1, grocery store robbery = GOAT.

Best seasons are 3-5? It’s been awhile since I watched so may be slightly off.

Just finished season 1, and it's absolutely hilarious how every episode they're just nonchalantly robbing everybody like it's a normal every day activity.

I think season 4 is the best overall. 5 is close. I think that's the season with "The shite Winds are Coming."

My favorite under the radar Leahy scene. It sums up the entirety of the original show in a 2 min clip: LINK

It's great, I was told it was good by a few friends, but it took a few false starts on season 1 until I got hooked. As mentioned, the original 6-7 seasons before Netflix took over are by far the best. There are some funny (and some outright terrible) parts in the final seasons. Those are probably worth watching at least once. The movies are just OK, not great, but worth watching once.

The recorded live stage shows on NF are pretty damn funny. Drunk, High, and Unemployed: Live in Austin was my favorite of those!

Also- J-roc crack me up!

Exact same thing with me. Friends kept quoting the show and it sounded hilarious but when I tried watching it I just thought it was stupid as hell. Took several times trying to sit through the first episode before I realized that the acting wasn't that bad, Ricky is just retarded.
