Yes needed. It is a new age now get on the train of progress. Sporky show how Bonnie consider herself sexless and not a girl.
Just to be clear, are you arguing progress is achieved when people ignore the parts of them which are affected by their biology?
I also may have missed the part where Sporky taught Bonnie anything. He was a home made toy that she made to comfort herself but Bonnie was making herself braver and happier.

Exactly. I saw it tonight and never one time did the thought of a sporks gender identity cross my mind and probably not 99.5% of anyone mind who was in that theatre. Duzz is the prime example of a cause in search of validation. There was nothing there to even steer the mind to Forkys gender identity but Duzz’s great takeway was that we should all celebrate how mental illness was subtly slipped into a kids movie and somehow normalized. Even though this didn’t occur, the fact that Duzz called this progress tells you all you need to know about where he/she stands on that issue.

What is up with the 2 hate on this board. It’s always been the best to me and I always thought a lot of other people.

Here's how we know you're full of shite.
You're dumb, most people are dumb and will lazily latch on to anything. Like the "lesbians" in Finding Dory.
You've latched on to yet another thing that wasnt even there. And this without even a media blitz from the get the rabble clicks folks.
It's apparently so subtle even the clickgrabbers aren't beating the drum.

The guy who voices Sporky constantly refers to him with male pronouns in an interview currently all over Disney’s social media.

Congrats on by far the stupidest take on Toy Story 4 on the internet.....great job champ!

I don’t think anyone is hating on Toy Story 2, it’s a phenomenal film in its own right and if it were released in any year that another Toy Story wasn’t released in, it would be the best animated movie of that year.

I saw it yesterday with the family and thought it was fun, had a few laughs, but . . . ultimately not needed.
We kept waiting for Buzz and the other support toys to have a larger role as the movie went by and it really never happened. I kept expecting this real meaningful ending too, and that never happened either.
It was touching and moving, like all Toy Story movies, but didn’t deliver that meaning-of-life punch as in the previous movies. I think reviewers are afraid to give it a downvote - for I can see people not liking it.

Saw last Friday. We enjoyed it.

It doesn’t have the emotional punches in the third act that Toy Story 3 had, but I felt there were smaller emotional punches throughout the movie this go around. It was definitely had the most humor of any of the movies.
Basically if you are one of those “It WaSn’T nEcAsSaRy” fools then you probably will be lukewarm towards it. If you love the franchise and characters then you’ll love the movie.

This just felt unnecessary. Should have been a tv special. The producers talked how they found unused Rickles recordings to use for Potato Head. Meanwhile, he had two generic lines that he said in previous movies. I'd be pissed if I was Mrs. Potato Head or Hamm. They barely had any screen time.

Yeah I’m sure 90 year old Estelle Harris who has been in dozens of movies and tv shows the last 35 years and John Ratzenberger who has been in every single Pixar movie, had a big role in Cheers, and will have his own series on Disney+ are absolutely furious they took a paycheck for this movie.

I loved Forky and Duke Kaboom.
I thought it was great. Funny, sad, hell there was even a jump scare
Ending felt a little rushed but only a minor complaint. Helluva way to close it out. Gave me the closure I didn’t even know I needed

I'm sure my rankings will be divisive even though I love the OG (saw it in theaters on Xmas Eve 95). The original 3 were all great. 4 was a big drop off.

Maybe I need to go back and watch 2 but I literally cannot remember a single thing from that one like I can the others

Overall, it was a great movie. Like others said, I wish that the other OG toys had a bigger role, but I thought they did a good job (especially with no true villain)
