I guess Hollywood is telling theaters to die a quick death.
Open next July?

I think Hollywood is seriously going to spend the next year figuring out how to make similar money for at home consumption.
You just can't take blockbusters out of the theater for a year and expect the theaters to still be there...maybe some theaters but not the mega-cineplexes with 19 screens and empty seats.

But movies like Top Gun, the entire Marvel and DC franchises... Star Wars... heck, really ANY blockbuster type movie... those are meant to be seen in the theater on a huge screen with Dolby Atmos or something similar. You simply cannot replicate that in 99.5% of peoples homes.
