Agree 100%. To be honest I excluded the gargoyles on my ranking. If I were forced to include the gargoyles, Beauty and the Beast would be slightly higher. The gargoyles are really just that bad, but the rest of the plot is incredible. Frollo I'd say is easily the best Disney villain, and Disney does villains very well, so that is also saying something.

Agreed. Frollo was great. Has the BEST opening to a Disney film (one of my favorite openings in all of film, honestly). Absolutely Killer soundtrack. Some beautiful animation and design. Its a special film that is ruined by, of all people, George Constanza.

Artistically, this was the pinnacle of Disney animation.

After 1. Lion King and 2. Jungle Book it gets pretty tuff for me. These two are in a group all by itself to me.

Some of you might want to turn your heads...
3. Treasure Planet
4. Beauty and the Beast
5. Mulan/Fox and the Hound/Alladin/Peter Pan

Yeah you put this in the Animation tournament before right? Or voted for it. I still don't get it.

This is hard.

I'd probably have to see a list of all Disney movies to make a list, but I know Jungle Book would be on it.

IMO:

Animated
1. Lion King
2. Aladdin
3. Pocahontas
4. Sword in the Stone
5. Beauty and the Beast
Just Missed: Fox and the Hound, Mulan, Jungle Book, Bambi, and the Little Mermaid

Live Action:
1. Mighty Ducks
2. Remember the Titans
3. Homeward Bound
4. Cool Runnings
5. The Santa Clause
Just missed: Old Yeller, National Treasure, Pirates of the Caribbean, and ...Air Bud

Edit: I just read Freuxzen's posts...the Gargoyles are the sole reason THOND isn't in my top 10...they ruined the movie IMO.

You should all be ashamed of yourselves that this masterpiece was not mentioned until this thread's second page.

1. Pinnochio
2. Lion King
3. Snow White
4. Beauty and the Beast
5. Sleeping Beauty (Ranking probably has more to do with Maleficent role in Kingdom Hearts if I am being honest about it)
