The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
No Country For Old Men
Unforgiven
I like pretty much every movie ITT, plus Giant and Hud I didn't see mentioned. For somewhat newer westerns I enjoy Dead Man and The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada.
I watched this for the first time recently, great movie, it's on Pluto along with 2-300 other westerns for free.

I have posted about this movie a million times but Conagher is my favorite all time western and if you have not watched it, you are missing out
Love the movie, the cast and everything about it. Sam Elliott is just the fricking man.
After that
Once upon a time in the west
The good, bad and the ugly

Ok so I’ve seen a few mentioned in this thread, but westerns have never really been my thing. So I made a list of ten to try to check out when I find some time:
A fistful or dollars
For a few dollars more
The good, the bad, and the ugly
Outlaw Josey wales
The searchers
High plains drifter
Unforgiven
Quick and the dead
The man who shot liberty valence
The homesman
FWIW, some I’ve seen:
Tombstone
No Country
Open Range
3:10 to Yuma
Blazing Saddles
Bone Tomahawk
True Grit (remake)
Maverick
Young Guns
Django

Man! You are in for a treat.
Amazing films. The second is my favorite of the series, especially the end.
Very underrated, especially if you are a fan of Sam Raimi, you will like this film. It's a lot of fun.

Spaghetti Westerns are my preferred westerns and I went on a huge binge last summer.
Death Rides a Horse, I loved! Especially as a Lee Van Cliff fan this was great.
The Great Silence..........wasn't for me. I discovered I'm not a fan of Sergio Corbucci......man that guy is depressing as were most of his films. However, I did appreciate how this film was different as far as the "winter western" etc

They are my favs too. I like darker films so I suppose that explains my top 3. There are so many more spaghetti westerns that are amazing as well. They just feel like real stories of the west and not the hollywood version of reality. I love those gritty earthy, gruesome tales as that’s how the west really was. There’s a great YouTube channel yall would like that really brings this point home. They tell tales of the old west and its brutality.
History at the OK Corral
Agreed Lee Van cleef is the shite. Same with George Hilton.

Underrated. As is Cat Ballou that someone mentioned above. Lee Marvin is great.
Not in my top 3, but will watch whenever I see either of them on.
