And sorry to keep beating a dead horse, but this is completely in any continuity the best Batman origin story. The fact that Batman chose love over his duty to be Batman is just great, but then in the end he was damned to be Batman and be entirely consumed by darkness and vengeance. That's why he's so interesting, and why Alfred is simply horrified.
Alfred had always been hopeful he could steer his adopted son from a life of vengeance, but the second he puts on the mask, Alfred knows he has become entirely consumed by vengeance and that he has lost the kind hearted child he knew and raised. In that series, Alfred really is the only tether that keeps him from a violent mindless rage, and Alfred is thankful daily that Bruce is still remotely sane and trying to do the right thing and just treads the line of mindless violence. That scene alone is why it's among the best.

(And yes, that's a joke. Slightly. But come TDKR as the second highest rated comic book film? That's ludicrous. Winter Soldier not on the list is also a huge oversight by the people who rate those films).
Oh, absolutely. At best, TDKR is #10, and that's really after making tons of excuses. No way it's the second best comic book film of all time.

Watchmen should absolutely be in the top 10 as well.

Really, even over the Dark Knight, I still think Mask of the Phantasm is the best Batman film.
Yep and with the best Joker and greatest batman scene as well

Rocketeer should be towards the top.

T-4. V for Vendetta (2005): 8.2/10 rating

T-8. The Incredibles (2004): 8.0/10 rating
10. Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015): 7.9/10 rating
They should replace comic book with the superhero on this list...A History of Violence and Road to Perdition would be on this list.
In no order
The Avengers
The Winter Solider
Guardians
Iron Man
Batman Begins
Mask of the Phantasm
Superman
Spider-Man 2
The Incredibles
X2

I rely on IMDb a lot for most genre's, but for comic book movies it is completely useless, especially for the first year after a movie comes out.
