It was a solid episode.
The “patients only” sign falling just as Howard left in his car made me lol.

It hit me as Kim asked Mike who he was, that Mike and Kim had never interacted .
And Gus ( the strain and worrying about Lalo is all over his face) and his house and underground tunnel was pretty crazy. Didn’t see that coming

Well this proves wrong my favorite ridiculous fan theory that Kim Wexler becomes Wendy
They read some of the fan theory stuff so that scene was probably to specifically blow that up.

Did Gus construct the tunnel to his neighbor’s house since finding out Lalo was alive or do y’all think he’s had that hooked up for a long time?
Seems like quite a job to do quickly

Kim is no part of “Saul.” She almost shite her pants when she realized just how thick it can pile on when talking to Mike.
She realizes how deep Jimmy is in it now even if he doesn’t know it yet. His new office is the beginning of their end.

Oh boy… he’s coming….you activated the Ham Solo Signal
I feel like Mike and I’m gonna type this out as I think he would say it
“ here’s what’s gonna happen. He’s going to rewatch the episode 2-3 times tonight. To be thorough and to make sure he didn’t miss anything.
Then he’s going to post 5 times on one page with random bursts of information and musings . This will bloat up the posts in the thread and people will come and see on there’s a lot of traffic in the thread .
Meanwhile it’s just Ham doing Ham things and everyone else sits back and rolls their eyes as he gets into it with a few posters.
Best we can do is zoom to next week and put this behind us “

Kim's facial reaction when she figured out Lalo isn't dead was impressive acting.
Now to be a pedantic frickstick, how did Gus manage to build that tunnel in a neighborhood with a HOA?

Clip on ties? Wtf gus
Safety? You don’t want to get a real tie caught in machinery or open flames. Clip ones are like break away ties.
And next week: Honey Tits returns!

"You're the guy he was with. Out in the desert."
Learning Lalo is alive and that Mike is protecting them, while she is not allowed to know who he works for, slowed her roll a lot. shite got real, real fast.
Her concerns carried over to his new office location and the reason he suddenly has a line of paying clients.

With no building codes, HOA's or need for secrecy when constructing.
It did have a sweet hidden entrance though.

yup. she was able to know about a drug cartel leadership figure, but a big fat nothing about mike's boss.
this was a slower kinda episode as expected. jimmy with howard makeover was pure gold. the cone fiasco, and patients only sign were good saul antics. it was an incredible contrast to the dark business side brewing in the background while they were giggling setting up howard and smiling helping the indigent.
also notice she may hide lalo being alive from jimmy which could have a major implication or they just didnt leave enough time for that talk to happen yet.

That tunnel and safe-room/house looked well used and dated. I dont think that was new construction. That was probably something he learned back in Chile.......

Yeah, there's no way that was built in the week or so since the hit on Lalo.
Gus has been shown to be a guy that plans ahead, and like Lalo it's good to have an escape plan, so he built that long before it was needed.

At the moment, it seemed cliché, but during the commercial break I reminded myself who the writers are, and if it's cliché, there is a reason for it.
The scene coming out of that break explained most of it. It seemed like manufactured suspense, but Saul and Kim are taking ridiculous risks because the are having fun doing it. In an abstract way similar to Walt shifting to Heisenberg because of the adrenaline and feeling of power, but in a much more subdued way, and with slightly different emotions as the driving force.

I think it is just another indicator how long Gus has been planning all this. We know from BB S4E08 his original motivation to hate the Salamanca's. That's just another indication Gus has been building his infrastructure for a very long time, not just to kill the Salamancas, but to to replace the Cartel Empire with his own.

Looks that way on the surface, but this show has given us so many redirects regarding Kim, I'm not so sure.
Kim looked equally distressed when she did a 180 and asked Jimmy to get married.

Considering how long some of my neighbors drag on their construction or remodeling projects, the tunnel isn't the craziest part. I'm more curious about the busybody couple that jus acts like Gus and Mike aren't walking through their home. Especially when Gus could have that monitor setup in his basement.

Why in the world would you not think it would be week to week? It’s a cable show on AMC and has always been that way for every AMC show ever.
Consider me clueless about a lot that's on TV/internet. I prefer it that way.
Up until this season I've watched it all on Netflix.

Seriously…how much is Gus paying this couple to use their home as his personal ‘safe house’.
