Good call. I'd bet money on this if I had any.

Doesn’t sound like Gus style. He is a fair business man.

Now if they cross him. Yeah

I'm curious if it's going to take five years to build it or if Gus let's it sit empty for years.

We see in BB the lab equipment still in the bubble wrap. Gus and Gale discuss WW's meth.

I think it takes years to build. Hell even without trying to be secret it would take a year to dig down that deep and pour concrete. Plus setup all the ventilation, power, utilities. That project ain’t getting done in 10 months with that small of a crew.

Plus they pretty much have to use small tools to keep things secret.

We built a new lab at the plant a few years ago. That took over a year and it wasn’t subsurface and secret.

Maybe hid some crystal money down there.

the crew being german made me think about madrigal. I know we've seen lydia briefly this season but my memory stinks so someone help me out...how/when/why does Gus first get involved with madrigal?

It appears that relationship started even before BCS.

Considering that Madrigal is some sort of parent company for Los Pollos, I would assume around the same time Gus opened his first restaurant.

Was the guy hector shot gus’ gay lover? Or just partner/friend?

And why did Don want him killed again?

I remember he spared Gus due to his ties to Chile

I think they were lover-partners.
I think its kind of like a "Bitch I own you, I will ice you without any second thoughts".

Kinda like what Gus pulled on Nacho. Kill the partner, isolate and dominate.

Yes, 99.9% chance they were gay partners. You will find some that disagree, but it's pretty obvious.

It was because Don accused him of selling drugs/giving samples to his men under his nose.

He took it as a disrespect. This was also before Don thought there was any money in meth. At the time he was strictly a cocaine middle man for the Columbians.

I believe it's S4 episode 11. May be 10. I think there's a little hint in that area about Nacho's fate if you pay close attention.
