Kim's gonna throw Jimmy one last bone, and get disbarred for it, or worse

You are acting like you are decoding some riddle and we aren't smart enough to see it.... we know they break up because she's not in breaking bad.

Even without the split screen, we still know they end up apart.

Then why is she working with him at the end of the episode? Are you saying it is the end, but not the end-end? There will be another more endy end later?

Its the exact opposite. There is no riddle and people are trying to create one.

Agree with you mostly, except this part in a big way. He's slippin Jimmy. He literally has his nickname from conning people and benefiting from their misfortune. This is not to say he only acts maliciously, but he does actively con the naive and ignorant.

You also forgot that he although helped the elderly, but he also conned them too. He manipulated them and got them to turn on each other etc so he could be the lawyer and have his way.

A more interesting question to me that I really never even thought about:

Is Mesa Verde dirty?

Is their rapid expansion associated with Gus/Los Pollos?

Will that tie things together and get Kim associated with shady characters?

I'm sure a lot of other people have thought about it but I honestly never did until now.

Yes, but I see Slippin' Jimmy, Jimmy, and Saul as three different characters.

Slippin' Jimmy is his past.
Jimmy is his present.
Saul is his future.
ETA- Gene is his future future.

All slightly overlap, just like real life as people get older and change, for better or worse.

This is almost true, and was very sneaky, and even mean, but if you look beyond the actual act of singling that lady out, it was so they could move forward in a lawsuit against a company that was fleecing them by the hundreds of thousands of dollars. Sure Jimmy (would have) got a cut, but it was to punish the a-hole nursing home and the largest beneficiary were the residents who were being ripped off.

It symbolizes his connection to the crooked vet.

Every conversation he has with the vet, they talk about the fish.

Question-

Does Mike get whores for the Germans?

I can't make up my mind on this one.

Really?

The guy never stops moving and is always doing whatever it takes to "make things right"

I've honestly lost count of the number of schemes he's tried to pull off through 4 seasons, most of which take many hours to plan and implement.

Deadbeat may not have been the right term, but I don’t know if it’s fair to consider him a hard worker when most of the work he does is scheming to circumvent the boring shite that actually gets you places in life.

Seems more like Mike's style to take them on a field trip somewhere and let them get their own whores.

Beyond the obvious security concerns of importing hookers, a big part of the problem is that the Germans haven't seen sunlight in 8 months so they need to legit get out for a few days and blow off steam, especially since their projected stay now looks to be more along the lines of 2 years, as opposed to 9 months.

From last week's episode...

You are the absolute worst at interpretation of this show.

quote:

Did you see the opening split screen? The distance between the two? The look on Kim's face when Jimmy slipped into Saul? The even more embarrassed face when he slipped into Saul at the party?

This is where you are getting crossed up. They have a romantic relationship and a business relationship. There is no way Kim can have a public relationship with Saul Goodman.

The writers are using heavy handed methods to show the strain in their romantic relationship.

This disguises all the more subtle things they are showing that point to their future business relationship.

One of two things will happen.

1. They split romantically
2. Their relationship becomes secret.

quote:

This is the end game for them. Seeing anything else is seeing something that has not been shown on this program. It is delusional

Wrong, this is the start of Kim helping the Saul Goodman law firm when needed. They told us Kim's future in the very first episode of BCS, and a thousand times since then, but you are too thick headed to see it.

Honestly, after the montage and the whole tone of the episode, to have Kim suddenly re-embrace the dark path and the Slippin Jimmy - Giselle paradigm for more than one last favor to Jimmy would really be cheap misdirection and beneath Gilligan, imo

I just finished binge watching BB last week, had never seen it before. I disagree whole heartedly with everything in your statement. Saul in BB has no conscience whatsoever. He's stone cold business.

And in BCS, the only thing that separates Jimmy from Saul is the fact he actually does have a conscience and concern for others.

You are just straight backwards on this one, in my humble opinion.

There are moments when he shows he has a conscience. He told Walt they were done because he put Brock in the hospital.

He griped at Walt for not telling him it was a kid.

That's when Walt said "we're not done until I say we're done".

I think Kim will play some sort of dirty trick with the Huell case, more because her pride was wounded by the prosecutor (who knew damn well that Kim was in a relationship with the "scumbag, disbarred lawyer") than as any favor to Jimmy.

How hard that comes back to bite her on the arse is anyone's guess but it sure as hell won't end up drawing Jimmy and Kim any closer in the long term.
