No, but if my memory serves me correctly, Mike told him what Nacho was up to with the pills.
Gus knew it was happening, but played no part.

I get so sucked into the Mike scenes that I completely forget about Saul, and then vice versa. What a show.

I watched all of season 3 over the past week, we did not see Mike tell Gus what Nacho was doing, unless I just blacked out for a minute and missed it. But it’s fairly obvious he was made aware of Nachos plan

I would have to go back and check but I think I remember when Mike finds out about Nacho's plan he goes and says to Gus there is a situation he needs to know about.
They don't rehash it for us, but we already know what the situation is.

You’re right, he did say that

Great episode. The Mike parts were outstanding.

So what did everyone think about the cab driver? Was Gene just being paranoid or did the driver recognize him?
I'm kind of leaning towards he recognizes his face, but can't place it.
Hoping we get several more Gene moments.

Thought maybe he recognized him from TV commercials. I guess it's possible Saul made the news as a wanted man in Albuquerque after everything went down.
It's also possible Jimmy is just paranoid and has moments like this all the time.

There was a clever little moment tonight. The cab driver had an Albuquerque Isotopes logo hanging from his rearview mirror. The baseball game Mike was watching mentioned the Isotopes.
Probably doesn't mean anything, but shows how these guys focus on little details.

I don’t think I would call it clever. In the beginning, there needed to be a visual cue to create a moment of anxiety for Gene. That created the need for a moment to educate the audience if they happened to not know who or what the Isotopes are. Among scripted moments considered clever, I give it a 3 out of 10.

The attention to detail and incredible acting is what makes this show stand out above everything else on TV. I really wish they'd start winning awards from this point on like BB did.
The little things that I loved about this episode:
The tension of the cold open and the background song - "We three, we'll wait for you, even till eternity. My echo, my shadow and me." That taxi driver had to make Saul out. I'm sure the intro to season 5 will be the police arriving at Gene's house.
Mike as a safety consultant. That was great.
Gus on-screen time is always GOLD. He is still as intimidating as he was in BB.
Kim is going downhill fast and I fear she's going down a dark path for herself.
Jimmy: "Well, Howard, I guess that's your cross to bear" JESUS!

Do we think we'll ever get a full episode(s) with Gene, or are the few minutes of black and white cold opens going to basically be its own standalone story?
From the cold opens we've seen up to this point, we've seen Gene working at the restaurant, piddling around the mall, passing out, hospitalized, freaking out. I wonder if they will just do like Mindhunter did with the BTK cold opens and just have that story kind of by itself.

I think one day we will see a Gene scene transition into color and that is where we will be from that point on.

I can't remember noticing it if it happened, but where/how did Mike get Barry's ID to get into Madrigal? Also, what was Mike's point in going there if he had a cush no-show job? Did he just want something productive to do, or maybe he was truly concerned about security issues at his employer's place of business?

It appears that he stole the id and sabotaged his car.
His intentions for doing this aren't clear yet. My guess would be that if he is going to be in bed with them he is going to snoop around and make sure it's actually secure for him to do so. Or it could just be he's getting paid so he feels better actually earning his money and also leaving a trail that he actually does work there if anyone looks too closely.

My wife is from there and she tried to call them out for having the Isotopes reference and said that it was the wrong time period. She thought the show was set in the 90s, but it's more like early to mid 2000s right?
The baseball team adopted the Isotopes name in 2003, so I think the show definitely didn't screw up the reference.
