I like the idea of doing it as a one-off, like a one-hour movie [versus a full-fledged revival series]. I like the idea of finding out where the boys are now, and where… Tool Time would be in today’s world. I just think it’s a marvelous idea, and all the actors think it’s a great idea.”

The series finale is still remembered fondly by many and the ABC sitcom would make a fantastic revival on a platform like Disney+. We’d imagine Patricia Richardson, Richard Karn, Zachery Ty Bryan and even Pamela Anderson would be up for coming back for a one-off as the “Tool Girl.” It’s just a shame Earl Hindman isn’t around to reprise his role as the odd neighbor.

I like this idea over a full reboot. Don’t force extra episodes, just a short, sweet follow up.

It would be cool if they just say Wilson went on a trip to study some weird-arse bug or something, and hasn't been seen in years since entering the Amazon. One theory would be that he went native. It would be more suiting to his character than to just say "Wilson's dead."

Pretty sure he has made quite a bit of money.. just Toy Story alone made him very wealthy.
Lemme check for ya...
Umm yeah, he's worth about $90 million.
You may wanna rethink your statement.

Tim Taylor would be MAGA af. Worth bringing back for Tool Time alone.

Lose the kids and just push forward with Tim, Jill, and Al.

This is something I didn't think I needed... but I want it now.

I hate watching these things. It's just depressing seeing how old everyone has become.

Toxic masculinity chants can already be heard on Twitter

probably have to bring it back with a female lead married to a trans female with 6 adopted kids of different races and sexual orientations. with one being "non-binary".

I think there is already a good story baked in with Tool Time becoming less relevant due to viewers able to use YouTube to find any of their home improvement needs.
This would force Tim and Al to pursue a new career path in a world that may have passed them by.
Al being the naive softy embracing everything and Tim with his unwillingness to change.
This is by no means an original idea, but lately it has become the tried and true way of bringing old characters we love into the world we live in now.

For a guy who was as clumsy and basically the antithesis of being called a “tool man”, the character had a smart mouth, and I’m surprised he didn’t catch more beatings. Just the way he talked to his kids or even to Al, I respect Al so much less for not knocking his lights out four or five times.

I thought Jill went cray cray?
