It’s ok. Has its moments. Sometimes a little over the top, but funny.

They are all basically the same with a different overall theme and slight variations of the characters. That said, he generally does a great job of nailing the supporting actor roles. Even going back to EBAD, Stevie Janowski was hysterical.

I could g back and forth for the top spot depending on which one I watched last with EBAD and Vice Principles. But Righteous Gemstones is a clear cut #3 for me. I couldn't even finish the series.

Gemstones obviously had some fantastic characters with Baby Billy and Judy and some others, but it had quite a few main story lines that just weren't funny, at all. I love Adam Devine, Workaholics is one of my favorites, but Kelvin was just a ridiculously unfunny character. It was bad. And honestly, even Jesse's character wasn't that funny for about 2 seasons. I wanted to love the show, it just rarely made me LOL while the fist two were doing it numerous times every episode.

seasons 1-3 of gemstones are some of my favorite television ever, all time. Season 4 had two all timer episodes and the rest was unfunny crap. It’s clear they just ran out of steam (and ideas).

I’m glad they made season 4 for the prologue episode and the lake house episode, but the rest was unwatchable

in particular, openly gay Kelvin and Megan Mulally’s character were noxious. Just incredible how not funny they were

I need to do a rewatch on Eastbound and VP. Both were fantastic

The first season of Gemstones is one of the funniest things ive ever seen. The penis scenes, the Outback scene alone is worth an Emmy. It did fall off which does make VP so elite is it was only 2 seasons

I watched this a couple months ago after finishing Righteous Gemstones and while RG was good, this show was elite. I probably liked that it was a little darker and less off the wall than RG.

I just watched this with my girlfriend, we couldn’t get enough

I cannot believe I didn’t know this show existed until we saw it pop up on HBOMax

Hilarious, dramatic, heartfelt. Loved it

i started another rewatch of this last night

Talking to the high school kid he picked up for school.... "You know what getting turned out means? It's when a little kid like you goes into I.S.S. and gets f*cked in the arse... and turns into a girl."

Almost every word that comes out of those two clowns mouth in this show cracks me up.

I loved that they leaned hard into the sassy black woman character with the whole show being about the disgruntled VPs getting her back was somehow realistic/relatable then she becomes empathetic and relatable too as it progresses. just amazing

Shortly before they burn her house down… Gamby while digging through the trash: “Come on Russell let’s get out of here I ain’t finding nothing but used tampons and empty bottles of cocoa butter” I use that quote when I can.

The scene is hilarious but you can’t help but feel bad for her when Russell gets her drunk and plane pisses on the cop car. Even Gamby feels icky because of how low down Russell can be.

The show has a pretty underrated story too actually. The mystery on who shot Gamby actually has a pretty good twist to it honestly.

It may be my personal favorite Goggins/McBride team up.

It’s short, balls to the walls comedic writing and acting.

Just binged the series in the last 2 weeks. Goggins is brilliant.

Plus, Snodgrass could get it.
