Picked it up in the $5 movie bin and watched it tonight. My mind is blown. Holy shite balls. Everyone else like it?

It was good, but overhyped.

i didn't find the ending at all controversial and actually saw it coming throughout most of the movie.

It was good, but not quite the mindfrick some say it is.

I did not enjoy it. Very slow and the ending was pretty predictable. I'm a huge Scorsese fan and I was very disappointed.

I went in blind to the plot and really enjoyed it. I work in mental health and picked up on some clues throughout, but I still really enjoyed the ending. It's a great read as well. Dennis Lehane wrote this book and "Gone, Baby Gone."

The book was out of control. The trailers kinda gave it away for me even though I knew what was going to happen

Great movie. Enjoyed it even though IMO the ending wasn't subject to interpretation as some suggested.

Definitely time well spent watching it. Seen it twice.

It's beautiful to look at and has some decent atmosphere, but the ending is quite lame (suspension of disbelief is one thing). It feels below Scorsese.

Not a fan. I feel asleep within 30 minutes of the movie. I woke up about 40 minutes later and watched the next 5 minutes. I turned to my gf and gave away the twist and went back to sleep. People in the movie were pissed. Not my fault its a predictable movie.

From very early on it was obviously a heavy-handed mindfrick movie. It's just irritating to know that the director is screwing with you the whole movie and isn't bothering to be subtle about it.

The final twist was nice but I'm surprised I made it to the end.

I enjoyed the movie. It was entertaining at least. Not that you asked, and I generally hate when people say this, but the book was way better. One of my favorite books.

I don't understand people saying the ending was lame. I can get being disappointed if you saw it coming, but what the hell else was suppose to happen?

I loved it and I predicted the ending before plopping my arse in the theater chair. My friend and I sat there the whole time knowing what the final reveal would be, but we still thoroughly enjoyed.

And of course it's heavy-handed. It's Scorsese. Everything he does is heavy-handed.
