Yeah this movie doesn't look very appetizing, but it's hard for me to accept the fact that JGL would make a shitty movie. Maybe this will be a lot better than it looks

You haven't seen all his movies have you? 500 Days of Summer, Inception and TDKR aren't his only movies in the past 5 years. He's played in a bunch of crap to mediocre movies as well.

They probably threw some large amount of money at him knowing no matter how bad the movie turns out they're still going to make a profit. He couldn't say no to the money knowing that actors are too often forgiven for making bad movies.

Actually, it looks like some Hollywood marketing research team discovered that there is a sharply rising number of cyclists in America, and they didn't feel like remaking Quicksilver.
