Confusing as hell. Lots of names and places that aren't explained. Also why didn't Renfri just kill him the night before?

Just finished the first episode. I’ve beaten all the games and read all the books, and I can admit it was better than I expected. The fight scenes were expertly choreographed and performed, really exceeded my expectations.

The cgi is killing me though, there’s too much of it and it’s 2nd-rate.

I know all the names and I still couldn’t hear some of the shite they said because of mumbling/sound mixing

I’d suggest watching with subtitles for sure, I’ll probably do the same

Read an article where he's says he's beaten Witcher 3 several times. He's big into video games.

How hard would it be to follow if you know nothing about the games or books?

No problem, whatsoever.

Not only this, he's a Witcher fanatic.

And as I said earlier, it shows.

Just got done with episode 2. The Yennefer backstory is interesting, since you don't really get much of that from the games.

I want to see some Quen and Whirl. Like a blender that explodes when you touch it.

He said he was on a three year WOW addiction when he got the phone call to be Superman. He seems to really be into this stuff.

Ok on Episode three and got to Triss. Ya, physically she's not what I expected. The character portrayal is pretty close though.

Only casting decision I'd classify as a "miss" so far, but even then it's not by much.

Triss isn't a redhead in the books (or a major character really).

Nevertheless, still gonna be tough to not want to see the game version of her.

I haven't read the books or played the games. It doesn't feel like the kind of show that should have titties in it. And yet, it does.

Never played the games or read the books so went into it blind. I'm sure I missed a lot cues/references so can't say how it fared in that regard, but I binged all 8 today and curious to see where it goes.

Given its got a watery Disney, anime vibe, and computer graphics are second shelf (as someone mentioned earlier), I agree.

If you were a wizard that could create an oasis within a building, would you put some fine arse titties in it?
