Man, Major Valchek starting all that shite over a stained glass window. Did not surprise me one bit, old folks were petty af like that. Really impressed someone wrote that character and the actor completely nailed it.

I bet he’s out in the hallway having one of those Road to Damascus moments.

These are for you McNulty!

When you list the cases, use dots, deputy likes dots.

Ain’t no nostalgia to this shite!

That was for Joe!

I have tried this series at least 10 different times over the years because I have heard how amazing and great the show is but it has just been too slow for me to keep watching so I give up

I'm only 4 episodes into Season 3 on my first time watching, I can say this - all of the "action" in this show happens beneath the surface of what is shown.

It's not an action show, its a drama. Lots of slow burn going on, I don't think anyone on the main cop squad has even fired their weapon yet. As far as the gang shootouts, it's amazing anyone is hit at all.

You're not wrong, it's just different.

I'm imagining S4 is where they 're going to start tying a lot of these pieces together. They're focusing a lot on policics this season.
All I know is, there isn't any way Stringer Bell comes out of this season alive. The street is the street and he's trying to be all Mr. Economics. Main theme so far in the show is that the street is what it is and you can't change it.
He pissed off Omar by sending him after Avon's hired muscle.
Worst of all, he pissed off Avon for A.Having Dee killed, B. Putting a hit on the Muslim Brotherhood Brother, and C. Getting in bed with Prop Joe and ignoring his orders.

The police are basically a non-factor in this show and no one can make a difference.

I'm 4 shows in and it is slow and boring. I don't understand the hype. If you guys want a entertaining and funny police involved show give the first Justified a watch. Now that is a quality show.
