Not sure what benefits Cam has as a friend at this point. His college popularity is no longer a selling point, he's beneath Ethan professionally, and Cam's actions are a threat to Ethan's marriage and financial success. I mean, I've got unsuccessful friends from college that I still hang out with, but if they immediately greeted any success of mine with a plea to invest in them or pushed me towards cheating on my wife, I'd move them towards the bottom of the friends list.

Her confronting him with the condom wrapper means all bets are off. No matter how loyal you are to your boy it isn't worth risking your own marriage for it.

And to be fair, when Cam called Ethan out on spilling the beans and Ethan told him about the wrapper, Cam was like "Oh shite, damn" and sort of understood that he had fricked up. Almost like he acknowledged that it was his own fault.

should we presume that Cam knows that his wife is aware of his habits?

if so, he wouldn't be terribly affected by her finding out about the wild night.

Ethan, however, would likely be more adversely affected, even if it wasn't his wrapper. This makes it possible that Cam might have left it on purpose to create a rift between Ethan/Harper so he could slip right in to one or both of them.

Probably a long shot, since his look of concern when finding out about the wrapper seemed genuine.


I figure we can assume that Cam knows nothing about his wife's "private training".

I seem to remember Uncle Rico saying something about their prenup and he only gets $1 million or so if she dies so he has to keep “working” so that’s why he was going back to the States. Something sticks out to me as we’ve been provided a motive from him. He doesn’t have a motive otherwise but for a payout on her death.
