FTW I think everyone is assuming the wrong thing with the doc at the CDC and his acid finger and the Andrea being infected bit. I think the accident did not give the Doc the Zed Virus but gave him a reason to get out of the lab before it exploded with all his hard work. Now he may still need a fresh sample to work from so him infecting another is a possibility. They also can go up the road and dig up one of their friends or find Jim moping down the road. He may be testing everyone who just entered because he does not know their history and is just being safe. It would be the perfect way to slip someone the Zed virus.
I would give Andrea some leeway with how she has been acting before wishing the Zed Virus on her. She is by far the best looking chic in camp and for that gets the hot babe pass on a lot of shite till someone better looking comes along. Just saying.

They need to beef up their hotness next season. Though Rick (The guy from Love Actually, Andrew Lincoln I think? I am obsessed with that movie) isn't all that bad to look at.
Oh and I do think you would die if we were in this IRL. But kudos for thinking ahead here.

Yeah with this series I give 2 shits about love stories and eye candy. I can deal with the Rick/Shane/Wife triangle but that's about it.

I don't think it would go that route at all if they added one or two hot "unknown" actors to the cast(that is the key here, no one really famous)..I don't see it going there with AMC.

I don't think that is where the show will go. Just thinking in a real world zombie apocalypse situation I would give here the hot girl pass. Shane is wasting time pining away over the scraggly woman married to his buddy and Andrea is there needing to be consoled over here loss. Opportunity is knocking will Shane answer the door?

Sub in: flashbacks, CDC background info on the outbreak/disease, survival plans and ideas
Sub out: overbearing/uncomfortable melodrama, inaction, reckless decisions that interrupt suspension of belief

That's shitty logic because:
1. All the actors look like normal people. What's the chances of some model surviving the fricking zombie apocalypse. Series would lose credibility instantly.
2. If some hot girl came on, you'd have the inevitable pissing on ant pile fight between Dakota and Shane for her love.
Just frick it all, keep the people marginally attractive and ugly is the best route.

I don't think a hot chick would screw it up as long as she could act well. It could provide an interesting twist on the plot...rape, not killing her for exposure etc...It's possible I think.

I just think it's ridiculous to make that an improvement point of emphasis of the show. I don't sit around watching Showtime waiting for a nude scene, if I wanted to watch naked women I'd pop in a porno.

Couple of things about last night's episode:
1. Didn't they strip the red sportscar after Glenn drove it back? And, didn't Rick try to tell "the black guy from Jericho" to look for a note on the red car and he could use it to get to the CDC? Maybe I misunderstood or misremember, but it seems like that is what he said.
2. If I got bit, I would think I would want to take my anger out on the zombies. Give Jim a gun or big stick and use him as cannon fodder to kill a few zombies. The world won't get better until the zombies are erradicated.

He didn't say so he could "use it"...he said he would post the message there and directions to where they were going. When they drove off, they showed the note attached to the busted up car. I think it said something like "not safe here, directions inside yada yada"
