I hope you are right. I did not even give it thought, but now I am anxious for that.

Congress probably defunded the military for increased social program funding...

I wonder how a world power such as the US Mil could not hold zombies off. I would think they had plenty of firepower.

Because of the human aspect. Battle buddies get infected and the friends hesitates to kill them. I was thinking this too when they entered the gates and that's all I can come up with. I guess early on people were just overwhelmed with having to shoot what they thought were still humans and it just overwhelmed them like wildfire.

The reason he needed fresh samples was he needed living tissue. You can't create a sample without a constant and a variable. Now he just has an induced variable. Seeing how the diseased tissue and live (noninfected) tissue react is what is needed.

He can't just give himself an open wound to test as that would risk infection and his life.

The only thing i really didn't care for is how far it is straying from the comic storyline.

Its not bad and it makes it interesting for those who have read the series, but i think the comic storyine is better (anyone else who read it agree?)

I really liked Jim. But I would have shot him in the fricking head. Just sayin'.

Shane has definitely developed some strong proprietary feelings for that particular trim. BTW: wasn't the actor who plays Shane in The Pacific?

I like how the actors were so grimy and ragged the day after that horrific attack. And they actually seem to be getting thinner as the series progresses as they would in their situation. Hopefully they cleaned up on that Resovoir before heading out.

Andrea is a self indulgent idiot. I know it has to be horrible to loose your sister but I think in reality someone who has been through he horror of the zombie apocolypse (did Dale actually call it that?) would have become a little harder and more jaded to at least not risk being bitten or infected herself. That said, I hope the CDC guy somehow turns her into the Blade of the zombie world.

I think this group might be a hell of a lot better off if they just made Darryl the leader.

Darryl sure does show respect for Shane and Rick for some reason. I would think he could take either one of them if he wanted to. I mean I'm glad he hasn't because I like him on the team but I would think his character is such a hard arse that he wouldn't be following them like he does.

Him getting bit and not telling anybody made him deserve a bullet.

And it's pretty selfish, not to mention weird to choose to become a zombie...I'd have asked to be left alone, said some prayers and do some thinking, then shot myself.

But no, this motherfricker wants to sit by a tree and wait to start feeding on people.

If he was alive and could rationaly think, I would give him a choice of what he wanted. I would want the same. He isn't going to go from walking and talking to dead and biting in seconds.

Personally (no spoiler, just my thoughts), I don't expect Darryl to be around much longer.
