According to that timeline Maggie and Glen fall in love in like a week and Carl is Wolverine. I call BS on that timeline

I noticed back on page 28 several references to guards at the school?? Posters saying Rick should have known Jenner was right after he saw them.
What does that mean? I'm drawing a blank on what they're talking about.
Great, great episode last night. Very excited for next season.

me too, much easier to enjoy the show without that timeline. like a lot of the LOST stuff that came out at the same time as the show that were totally off.

rick and shane and those dead walkers at the school. they had no bites or scratches. it was the first hint to you don't need to be bitten to turn into zombie after death.

Man I must have completely missed that.
Did they inspect the bodies or something? Why did they even think to do that?
shite I don't know why I'm not remembering that at all.

See I think if they could find a walled in prison or old school fortress that would be greater than a nomadic lifestyle. They could farm the land on the inside. The zombies could never over run the walls unless some idiot left the gate open (which would happen in any zombie movie ever). The difficult part would be water so they would have to dig a well or create some kind of Roman Empire water duct system from a nearby water source.
My ZA plan has always been to head towards Fort Pulaski, GA (about a 2 1/2 hour drive from me). It seems like a perfect place to reestablish a new life.

Wheww, finally got thru this thread. Good read.
1) Spoilers topic. I really haven't seen all that many spoilers being revealed. Next season is the 'prison season'? come on, they showed a prison as the ending scene of this season. WTF do you think is up next? Katana badass chick? So what, they mentioned her name, big deal. Like you weren't curious. And if you watched Talking Dead which came on not but 20 seconds after the final scene you'd have heard her name mentioned and prison talk anyhow.
I get the need to not have important plot lines spoiled, but some people need to get over themselves in here. Chill the frick out.
2) Rick-ocracy. Bout mother fricking time son. Rick has carried this group for along time and has only had their best interests in mind since the get go. Someone has to lead, it's not any easy position with so much at stake. A leader is never 100% popular. It was the correct decision not to tell the group what Jenner whispered. They were already all on the brink of suicide and this kept hope alive.
Another example of why being a leader isn't easy, tough decisions.
3) LORI. GTFO bitch. You wanted Rick to kill shane not but 3 episodes ago. What's done is done and it's for the best for you, Carl, the baby, and the group. Here's your duty going forward: Keep your mouth shut, keep an eye on fricking Carl, and have Rick's baby. Otherwise your a useless dramatic whore that adds nothing to this ZA world.
4) Glad we killed off some of the no-name characters. shite was annoying how they'd go missing for episodes then show up randomly around the house
5) Cold Hearted Killers. The group goes from having 3 people with any weapons experience to all being expert marksmen, lol. Okay, i'm not nit picking, finally some motherfricking zombie killing action
6) Prison. Seems this would be the best place if any to make a strong hold. Well, if a) you can kill all the zombies in the prison and b) if some other force doesn't already have it taken. Pretty big risk to try to take back over a prison from the zombies within. What if all the mofo's were let loose from their cells and are waiting for you at the front door. Are you going to take the time to kill every zombie in every cell and dispose of them?
But hell, you'd have one hell of a fortress is you pulled it off. Certainly better than running your entire life, without question.

Set up camp just inside the front gate. Do a methodical sweep of the prison, killing, dragging walkers out. Then close doors and gates behind you. Shouldn't be too hard.

Here is what I am coming to realize about the fortress idea. Anything you build that's worth a shite... someone is going to try and take from you.
SO you need good weapons and good numbers to defend it. The problem is, the more people you have, the more food and water you need. The more close in you group and habitate a group of people, the more you have to worry about sickness and communicable diseases, etc.
The fortress idea works when you can control the land, water, resources around the fortress that it needs for support. And that's a difficult thing to do.

Great, great episode last night. Very excited for next season.
there were 2 guards that were walkers and they said they didn't notice either of them had any visual scratch or bite marks. At that time Rick probably realized that Jenner was right when he whispered to him at the CDC that everyone is infected with the virus

Funny thing is, I think she is a lot older than she looks. Her Wiki says she graduated college in 2006. She might be some kind of prodigy or something...

So you're saying acreboy would not be interested in her. Got it.

Enough with the spoilers from the comics! Gah!!
I guess I'll change my answer back to Nick Saban.

There should zero. That's the point. I agree with you that the prison seems to be a big deal, but there are numerous threads to discuss things we know for a fact about the future of the show. I haven't read this thread, so I don't know what all exactly was talked about, but if there was anything not specifically from the show, then that's bullshite IMO.
Also, I just realized that Enigma's "hypothetical guess/speculation" as to what Jenner told Rick was 100% spot fricking on. Shocker.

So the big question right now is who/what lies in the prison and what role is this crazy woman with two zombies attached to her going to play.
