Looks like Negan wants to frick Maggie. Not sure how I feel about that.

I said it earlier in thread, but the dynamic between those two it's just awesome. I loved how Negan's attitude towards her totally changed once she made that promise. The old Negan is still in there somewhere. I also like how Maggie said that she would try to keep the promise vs giving a certain answer.

Eugene is all but unbearable.

I am basically hate watching this show now. I feel like I have devoted too much of my life to it and now I have to see it through. (Just like I did with Sons of Anarchy)

I love me some Eugene. He's one of the best characters in the show. His vocabulary and choice of words is great. Loved when he's said "that is not in my purview." Who talks like that?

tonite is the return of jadis
supposedly they’ll explain what she’s been doing for the six years past.

I may force myself to watch.
the show itself is so so bad though

Wow, wtf was that? I expected a cliffhanger, but that was ridiculous. I liked the assault on the camp but they could have at least concluded that in this episode.

I liked it, but nothing really happened in the Commonwealth and the storm siege on Alexandria was largely pointless. Rosita's super woman scene was totally pointless. That accomplished nothing but time expenditure.

then 10 seconds after the end they show a preview with negan, Maggie and gabe all still alive and back home LOL
this show is beyond defending I’m afraid

Jadis didn't return, btw. They teased her in the promos for the last 2 weeks, and she still hasn't made an appearance. The WB is too stupid to sit through any longer, so good luck with that.

That rocket weapon is real, btw. They used those in China in the middle ages, so there we see another nod to the CCP, where the show now airs regularly.

So Eugene totally gave away Alexandria's location to the Commanwealth right, is that what we are thinking?

That the storm troopers march into Alexandria to save the day when the show returns?

that seems likely. either that or hilltop/saviors old place. something to make it seem like it had just been overrun.

v doubtful they are saving the day. id imagine they have so many walkers in houses that need clearing because they massacred those towns before settling in them.

with 8 episodes left they still need to tie back in michonne and the stormtroopers + set up a cliffhanger for meeting back with rick.

no i dont think they are "saving" anybody's day
alexandria is toast anyway, they've been stuck there way too long. it was never going to work regardless, its too small

our heroes need to move on. the show was never going to end there. lets get on with it

yea I think they gotta eliminate everyone and have the remaining groups come to a head. is WB and FTWD black stormtroopers in the same group as white stormtroopers in TWD? I think somehow both stormtrooper groups and the army michonne is with has to clash in the movie with the protagonist group kinda split up.

There are 16 episodes left. This final season has a total of 24.

Uniting the three shows will be really, really stupid.

yeah I don’t see it happening
they can do that shite in the movies if they want

what will anger me though is if they cliff-hang the series finale to the movies

I think that's exactly what they'll do, and the movie(s) won't really resolve anything. I keep comparing it to the X Files. That feels like what we're in store for.

oh I forgot its a 3x8 part final season

im not saying they will 'UNITE' all the shows, but they have civilizations that will undoubtedly tie back into each other for the movie(s). I think WB isnt really going to tie back in so much as provide backstory for the CRM while the main focus of TWD will be the commonwealth. rick with CRM and michonne with that marching army somewhere will have to reunite. CRM and commonwealth are opposite coasts and both now have main characters involved.

some [spoilers redacted] things going on in FTWD also kinda tie in with CRM. I expect morgan, rick, darryl, maggie will all meet back up at some point too, not sure how they would make a movie without doing that.
