Terrible final tonight, last weeks show should've been the final. Last weks show could've been one of TV's best finals of the year, but was passed up for this filler espidie tonight. What a waste of a great final show last week!!! Tonight's episode might of been better off as a 2-hour season opener. Was a decent episode, especialy the snow vibe, that moved story along. Just wasn't final material, that's all...

how did the dog get there with Judeth?

Negan brought them both back after Judeth left the group in the snow when she heard the dog barking. How she knew it was that particular dog is beyond me.

Yes, but Judeth was talking about Daryl asking her to watch the dog when Negan and group were still in the cabin. How did it get from the fair back to Alexandria? Did the time jump skip over an entire trip from the fair to Alexandria, and back to the Kingdom? Seems unlikely but if it did, did Daryl take Lydia with him both ways? Just doesnt make any sense unless I completely missed something.

He still has overall control of what happens. He was discussing "our choices" on TD last week.

Make no mistake, if he says do it, they do it.

That conversation between Michonne and Negan had all the vibe of “Negan, if you want to be a part of this group, then you need to hunt Alpha.”

Next season is gonna be lit

Honestly, I didn't think it through that far. I just kind of took the part with the dog at face value. IMO it was dumb enough of a story line to get Negan and Judeth together as it is. I guess I'm pleading willful ignorance on this one.

It was a finale just so we could have the cliffhanger of wondering who that was on the radio. It was a whole lot of nothing for a few seconds of intrigue.

This is why this show has gotten infuriating. Its always setting up for something that never really pays off. The borders moment was great, but there was probably less than 10 mins of memorable tv run time in this season. But like every season finale, next season is going to be awesome!

I mean, they’re inside of Alexandra’s walls and Judith said he was outside before they left to walk over to Aaron’s house. So it’s safe to assume it was Dog.

I just realized why y'all were confused. There was a mix up with the program guide. So, if you caught up on DVR then you missed the last 20 minutes of last week's episode. I would suggest catching up. But, basically the Whisperers killed eight or so people and put their heads on pikes creating a border. Enid, Henry and Tara were among those killed.

ARE YOU frickING KIDDING ME?! I thought the episode last week ended on a cliffhanger when Alpha sat down next to Lydia in the theater and it went to commercial and the DVR quit. I though they were setting up the Whisperer attack for tonight.

frick.
THIS.
shite.

did you not pick up on that when Lydia told Carol she is the reason why Henry is dead in tonight’s episode?

No. After they inexplicably jumped forward a few months, I thought TWD was doing their typical time jump/cliffhanger bullshite filling us in on the aftermath for a big open next season jumping back to cover the attack.

Please, can someone edit the first post or the title to let people know they fricked up last week and you missed a huge event if you watched on DVR?

Not kidding, it was the most consequential 15 minutes in quite some time, and lots of viewers missed it because of DVR timing.

There really couldn't have been a worse episode in the second half of this season for that to happen. That was a really bad frick up.

This is absolutely hilarious. I just so happened to watch into the badlands and found out there was a back half of the episode with insane content. 100% thought the cliffhanger was her sitting next to her daughter in the theater.
