I agree with your sentiments on Danielle, fwiw
But you'll get razzed for it.
This board hates anyone who gets a lot of early praise, which is why they turned on Sarah and Judith.
Danielle is good, but she was probably the 4th or 5th best voice this season. . .and 3 are gone (Judith, Sarah, and Kris).
Like I mentioned earlier, I still think Michelle wins it, but Danielle may have the best voice of a very weak field.
It's like removing Jordan and Pippen and arguing who was the best Bull of the 90's. you may get an agreement of sorts, but it really doesn't matter.
I guess I have talked myself into it. . .I won't watch anymore this season.

Not really. Sarah was doing great until she nearly cried on stage and shite the bed while singing Someone That I Used to Know last week. Judith was very talented and also very odd. She had a great voice but was not the best performer though. Had some strange song choices as well and probably why America didnt vote for her.

Amber and Danielle are by far the best voices in this thing. Amber's version of I'll Remember You was good enough for me to consider actually buying it and her rendition of Crazy was fantastic. Danielle could sing the phone book and it would go gold.
Sasha and Holly are close, but just not quite the range or natural talent of Amber and Danieele.
The rest are left in the dust. Swon Bros are fun to watch and I hope they get a record deal. Michelle would probably do well as a front person for an indie band, but I don't see her carrying a solo carreer.

just watched last night's episode. first off I want to issue a public apology for anything negative I have ever said about Sasha she brought it last night and to quote a great man she is "in it to win it". by far my favorite of the night.
Danielle first song was just ok for me, second song was great.
Michelle was probably my 2nd favorite of the night. she isn't the best vocalist at all but I really enjoyed both of her performances.
amber solid night, nothing that blew me away but nothing to get her sent home.
holly she must not have done too well because I just finished the episode and I honestly cannot remember either one of her performances.
swonn bros I think the ride is over. last night was by far their worst night since I became a fan.

Made me remember just how much of an amazing vocal Sebastian Bach hit in that song. Nobody on any season of the voice could hit that note.

I don't know country music that much, but I know acts like, say, Big and Rich, and the Swons don't sound any different from an act like those guys to me.

I try not to be, but this year I think I'm so apathetic to the show that I don't really care who wins. And the few I liked aren't really there anymore. I noticed when I was typing out my post that it was pretty negative though.

Swon Brothers time on the show has run it's course. Great run but I think they're gone. Overall, it was a solid performance by everyone but I didn't go "wow" for anyone. Everyone is doing what's expected. I'm ready for someone to do something completely different to set themself apart from the rest.
Rankings:
Danielle - needs a Holly moment, pick a song with more personality and some umpphh, do something sassy like come Carrie Underwood bat through your windshield type stuff
Amber - just keep growing, I think she's great, to think only one person turned around for her
Holly - same as Amber, they've been very consistent, don't think either has enough it factor in them to beat Danielle though
Sasha - great vocalist, good weak and could sneak back into my top 3(originally was from the beginning)
Michelle - probably the weakest vocalist of the bunch but she has "it" and the underdog factor going for her
Swon Brothers - just didn't like the choice Blake gave them; it wasn't bad by any means, but instead of picking a playful song, I think they should switched it up and done something rock or a ballad

Blake has gone completely into "shove country music down America's throat" mode. And someone said it a little while ago, and I agree: I think one reason I could be getting so turned off by this season is because it's so country-heavy.

It's getting a little old for us, but you got to give it to him... it's working for him and his team. Hell it's working for Amber too. Shakira even got Sasha to sing a country/pop song.

Hmm, he's either wrong or I don't know what time voting ends, Danielle was #8 when I looked at around 10am.
Michelle was Top 5 all night and still is right now so she's definitely the one then.
