It's just such a perfect 80s Arnold movie. And casting Dawson was simply genius. He totally steals the movie. The rest of the cast is great too including Ventura, Jim Brown, Cotton, and of course Mick Fleetwood.

It's was also completely ripped off by the Hunger Games, especially the first one where the plot is virtually identical.

One of the best Stephen King film adaptation and an underrated classic. I love this movie because the concept is fantastic and I could see it happening one day.

From a bad '80s flick point of view...it's great to watch.

But I'd gladly burn every copy if they'd do a real adaptation of Bachman/King's book. The book was so fricking good.

So keep the ending where he flies a plane into a skyscraper?

The book was great, but I hate the movie. Would love a remake true to the book.

Love the movie, would love a remake of the book too that's a bit closer to it.

The Running Man is awesome.
One of the greatest over-the-top action movies to come out of the 80's.

You cold-hearted bastard! I'll tell what I think about it. I'll live to see you eat that contract! But I hope you leave enough room for my fist because I'm going to ram it into your stomach and BREAK YOUR GODDAMN SPINE!

Great movie, some truly awful/amazing one liners

"What a pain in the neck!"

"He had to split!"

"Last season's winnners.
No. Last Season's LOSERS!"

I love this movie. I also think they couldn't have casted a better actor than Richard Dawson for that part. Tons of chessy lines but great movie none the less.

It also contains the cheesiest line ever in "Here is Sub-Zero. Now...... PLAIN ZERO!" To this day I don't understand what he was trying to get at with that comeback.

Yeah, I've never gotten the "Hunger Games ripped of Battle Royale" other than kids aspect. Running Man always seemed much closer to me. I guess the people complaining about Battle Royale were too young realize the true inspiration.

Having never seen the Hunger Games, I think you just talked me into it. Is there a hockey scene?

If you don't stay true to the real ending, then the terrorists win.

I always liked when the chick says "I should have gone to Hawaii with you."

And the comeback, "yeah, I had the shirt for it, but you fricked it up!"
