What a great under the radar movie. Went to the Braves game Friday night and they had the sphere/dirt bike setup outside the park. They’re insane. Can’t think of a movie with bigger stars that got less hype. Gosling, Cooper, Liotta, Mendes, Mendelsohn, etc

The beginning of this movie is an absolute 10/10. I don’t think it sustains it throughout but I still love it overall

Falls apart in the third act but first 2/3rds of the movie are a fun time

First half is fantastic. It’s still very good towards the end but falls of a little bit

As others have mentioned, fatal flaw...two different movies crammed into one.

Reminds me a lot of Full Metal Jacket or Sunshine.

Blue Valentine '10, Drive '11, The Place Beyond The Pines '12 had me convinced we were watching a A+ new leading man in Hollywood. Now he's doing Barbie. Still a nice catalogue though.

His mamma would be disappointed to see how he turned out.

Barbie looks hilarious. It makes fun of the brand in a fun way.

What else is he supposed to do now? They don't even make films like those mentioned anymore, and that was only 10-12 yrs ago.

Gosling isn't doing comic book or Marvel movies, and most all of few high quality dramatic leading parts that even exist anymore are still occupied by Matt Damin, Leo and the like.
