It's really a shame. It's such a well done series and seasons 3-6 are some of the best star wars you will ever watch. The last 3 episodes with Yoda training was amazing, especially when he goes to the Sith homeworld and palpatine and dooku try to turn him.

Agreed. Phenomenal series. I really enjoy Rebels, but Clone Wars was at another level.

Agreed. Those last four seasons really are a thing of beauty. Lucas gets back to a ton of his archetypes of storytelling as well getting back to the mythology of the universe.

For a lot of prequel haters, that series will really soften their stance on those movies.

Agreed. Not a fan of TPM but BOTC and ROTS got better and better.

I liked seeing Vader in that "life support tube" thing surrounded by the Emperor Royal Guards too. That was really cool.

Takes me back to when I was in elementary school and saw Vader without his helmet on in Empire, scared the hell out of me.

I saw your comment about Bail Organa and I said the same thing when he said, "I must return to Alderaan."

Yep. ROTS was a good movie with a couple of just abysmal dialogue scenes. It did some
Thing very well.

That was awesome. His outline was huge too. Cool seeing him a little more "built"

Just got out. A big fat "meh" for me. There was some stuff I enjoyed, but the first half of this film is all over the place. It really struggled with it's pacing, and I didn't really care about any of the characters. C+

I don't think it really is.

Not sure how you are trying to connect shitty character development and SJW agenda.

Also not sure wtf people were expecting. Where the F is the time coming from to build that character narrative? This wasn't a 10 part Band of Brothers

It's been a long time since I've seen "a new hope" but didn't they say the death star had never been fired in that film? Up until Alderran, of course.

Also, I'll add that Forrest Whiitakers character was freaking annoying. The more I think about this movie, the more I realize how little I cared about any of these characters. I sure hope Ep 8 comes thru because I'm starting to get down on Star Wars.

I just think Tarkin said it was time to show the full power of the battlestation i.e. blowing up a planet.

I think it had never been fired at full power iirc.

Did anyone else think Vader sounded a bit different than in OT? I may be crazy but the voice just seemed a bit off to me.

I am in the middle of the road on this film.

I enjoyed it and will go see it again but I see the flaws that some of you are complaining about.

My main complaint is how do you put scenes in the trailers that don't make it into the film?

That one bad arse scene with the tie fighter confronting Jyn on the catwalk - not there!

Loved it. Sorry some of you dorks can't see it for what it is.

I swear there's a few of you who want a 2 hour long cut of Vader cutting people down to make you happy.

Just got out of mine. I think it was better than the prequels, and a tad better than TFA. If they added more Vader scenes it would be right at the top, but they excluded multiple chances to add him. No Palpatine appearance either, wtf??

Loved the battle scenes, they all knew it was basically a suicide mission but gave it their all anyway. Machine gun blasters are cool. Wonder why stormtroopers don't have those. Gareth Edwards did a good job passively inserting lots of background cues that gave us that nostalgic feeling that was right on-line with ANH. I didn't mind the CGI. You get another actor/actress and we would be bitching about how they weren't Tarkin or Leia clones right down to every mannerism. 8/10 for me, 4th best of the series so far....

James Earl Jones is like 90 years old....give him a break. NOBODY can duplicate his voice.

Well it was literally the same person doing the voice as the OT. James earl jones was the voice of Vader in rogue one as well as OT.
